Great location, very nice staff. It's not a hotel, there are collection of fishermens' cabins, charming, clean and with the epic view! Waterfront cabins are the best, view is breathtaking. The place is really amazing. People writing bad reviews here wewre dissapoited because thay expected boring and predictible hotel. Here is just PURE JOY of having traditional cabin with the...

We found older reviews of these cabins to be misleading, perhaps the business model changed in 2017. Housekeeping: there is none. You are the housekeeper. However, unlike the reviews from earlier years, there was no fee for cleaning the cabin after our stay. They provide a vacuum, and a scant amount of cleaning supplies, no way are you going up...

these "fishing cabins" come in a variety of styles, with small kitchens that will allow for an easy breakfast or lunch. the setting is much photographed. there is a small living area. the bedrooms are VERY small and come with a variety of bed types--bunk, singles and doubles. the bathrooms are also small and will require cooperation with whomever you're...

The location of this space is just spectacular. Renting a car is a must if u want to stay here. You can hit everything between A and Leknes from here. Just 2 minute walk to the bridge on E10 for an amazing view. Only issue I had was with the size of the room. We were 4 of us and...

Lofoten islands is a Beautiful place on earth and it's impossible to build something here without a view. Eliassen is no exception. It's in Hamnoy and a rorbuer like so many you would find on the island with a great view. Toppoy, Reine and A are very nearby from here and you can drive there for more scenic views. The...

We spent five days in the area for photography and the aurora as part of a photography workshop. Eliassen Rorbuer is a collection of fishing cottages that you just have to accept as "quaint", i.e. they are fine but need some updating. It was great to have more than a bedroom to come back to at the end of a...

I stayed at Eliassen Rorbuer in January as part of a group of 11 visiting the Lofoten Islands for a week long photography trip. We had booked 3 superior two bedroom cabins and each had two good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds, clean and functional bathroom / shower and a well proportioned living / dining / kitchen area for relaxing...

We were there in low-season, end of November. Got an upgrade in cabin so we had an 8-persons cabin with the 3 of us. Best view ever at the most amazing nature of Reine and Lofoten. Really nice staff. We got there by bus from Svolvaer, there's a busstop close by. It's a nice walk to Reine.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
There is a place on Earth where the Sun never sets, the Northern lights never cease to amaze, and the landscape changes constantly, the wind never stops blowing and the people always smile. These are the Lofoten. Eliassen Rorbuer is a holiday resort with fishermen’s cabins, enjoying the longest tradition in the tourist industry in Lofoten. We offer accommodation in a traditional fishermen’s cabin camp, in the most beautiful western part of the Lofoten Islands. It is situated on the tiny island of Hamnøy in Western Lofoten, the Moskenes municipality. The island is the last one in the archipelago to have the road link. Currently the Lofoten Islands are mainly associated with fishing, which takes place from January to April, alongside the entire archipelago. All of our cabins are new renovated and got a new floor, kitchen, bathroom and furnishings. Welcome to refreshed Eliassen Rorbuer! ... more   less
