Beautiful sea (Blue Flag). Nice pebble beach. Beach faces south so that sun moves at excellent direction - so are the hotel rooms. Hospitality was great. Owner is always there for a chat or for service or for anything you might need. But even if he wouldn't be there, all the o staff is professional but also very friendly. Rooms... More

Hotel is located on a beautiful beach, which for several years in a row gets a blue flag. On the beach are sunbeds (1 euro), the pool deck chairs are free of charge . Hotel rooms are very clean, the staff friendly, breakfast is solid but not enough diverse fruit - each day were only orange. Hotel has a very... More

I discovered this beach on my last day in Samos. It has lots of accessibility comforts and the water was beautifully calm but VERY COLD! I was rather surprised but had to drive back and jump in a HOT shower for the first time on this trip!

This is a very nice, Greek-style hotel, with an outdoor pool (which is off limits in the evening), a bar with a terrace, overlooking the beach, and its own restaurant; the entire place is full of greenery where you lose the crowds and it offers a feeling of privacy. And it's right next to the beach (just a couple of... More

With the relatively small amount that we paid we did not expect much. The clean rooms, bilingual staff and great food (pricy compared to rest of hotel) and especially the private, calm beach in a small bay surprised us well. For everyone who is looking for a quiet place to relax and get away from work, this hotel's beach is... More

I am starting to think about summer holidays and I cannot forget the week I spent at Hotel Glicorisa last year. We went few years before to Samos island and when we discovered the secluded beach and the family hotel, we decided that one day we would stay there… and we did so three years later. Every morning, I could... More

Set on 5 acres going down a steep hill to the beach, with a pool mid way. All quie pretty. Reception area is good but rooms are awful hot boxes. No adjustable aircon, just a central system that only works if the outside temp is 25+, otherwise it just blows hot air, which you can't adjust! You can open the... More

I picked this hotel for my group of 10 because from the reviews it offered a pool and a beautiful, clean, Blue Flag beach which is truly a gem. However, one of our group has limited mobility and uses a cane. She was not able to get down the 144 random, stairs to either the pool or the beach without... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Think of a verdant hillside, full of olive trees and pines that gently slopes towards a small private beach, embraced by the amazing blue waters of the Aegean. Imagine a mild development on a human scale that blends with the landscape stretching over four acres of lush Mediterranean gardens. Dream of genuine Greek hospitality, passed down from generation to generation, and of an unpretentious, heartfelt service that only a true family business can really provide. Come to Akti Glicorisa and together we will create memories of an unforgettable vacation. The panoramic view of the deep blue Aegean Sea sooths the senses and allows the eye to rest on the far horizon, while a riot of colors and fragrances from hundreds of different flowers and plants create a relaxing and rejuvenating environment. Our beachfront swimming pools -a large 240m2 one for adults and a smaller one for children- add their own azure shade of blue to the overall atmosphere of carefree relaxation, composing along with the stone-paved pathways and the lovingly tended gardens a serene and refreshing setting. Our renowned Blue Flag beach is one of the island's most beautiful. Offering fine sand laced with small pebbles and calm, shallow waters, it is ideal for endless play, carefree leisure or active recreation for both the young and the young at heart. Especially for children, we have created a wonderful playground they can enjoy all day long. All our rooms offer modern amenities, including satellite tv, air-conditioning and in room safe, while our personnel is on call and at your service around the clock. The Akti Glicorisa experience is not complete without sampling the wide selection of culinary delights offered by our deluxe restaurant and seaside bar -from local specialties and exotic cocktails to exquisite dishes of international cuisine or light meals prepared with loving care. One of the reasons we are consistently preferred by guests visiting Samos is the quality of our services. Because for us there are no 'customers,' just friends whom we care for as if they were family. The Akti Glicorisa Hotel is ideally located, just 3km from picturesque Pythagorio and 10km from the island's capital Vathi. Equally accessible, the airport and the main port are only 10 and 15 minutes away, while the close by (400m) country road connecting Vathi and Pythagorio via regular bus service can take you to the island's hot spots within minutes. As the sun goes down and the beach umbrellas are closed, prepare for an exciting night out on the island, knowing that tomorrow another day of absolute relaxation awaits in the enchanting atmosphere of the Glikorisa Beach Hotel. ... more   less
