At our surf camp we have traditional bungalows located right on a beautiful beach at the stunning and hidden Nyang-Nyang or Masokut island. The camp can house a maximum of 10 persons and provides a traditional feel with modern facilities. The ideal Indonesian atmosphere gives our visitors a unique memorable stay. Our island offers amazing surfing opportunities with excellent breaks such as: E-bay, Beng-Bengs, Nipussi, Bank Vaults and Pitstops. You can find these high quality waves within a walking distance from our camp. Best Surf Trip, Handra organised everything perfectly from the moment we landed in Padang. Cap the captain met us in Siberut and took us on his boat to the camp he is an absolute legend even picked me up beers from Siberut a few times. Papa Jam and his wife own the camp, such amazing people they looked after us like family, food was great. Got epic waves couldn't have asked for a better trip. Thanks Handra, Cap, Papa Jam and his wife. See you again soon. 5 stars ++++++

Me and my girlfriend stayed in Bintang surf camp for 10 days. Wish we could stay forever!! It's a paradise. Handra give us all the details making sure we wouldn't miss anything since the beggining!! Everything went more than perfect. Starting with our airport pick up driver that drove us to Yani homestay in Padang. One night with some sleep in a good room and we were ready to board on Mentawai Fast Ferry. At 6am we had the tickets and a 3 hours boat ride was ahead. Arriving at Siberut we met Kep (super friendly person and the captain of Bintang surf camp), his brother and Anchor that drove us on their speed boat to Nyang Nyang island (1h30min). Arriving at the camp we were super impressed on all the facilities and how organized they are. We stayed in a Bungalow and it was perfect (private room with a chinese style bed and a fan is more then enough in paradise). Mama made us amazing local food every single day and she can get very creative with it!! 3 very good meals a day and you won't need more. They didn't had time schedule for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Whenever you felt hungry mama would make something. Julupin and the rest of the crew they were so atencious with us. The camp probably has the best location to watch the sunsets comparing to the others and the surf it's just right in the front if E-bay is working. Pitstops 10 minutes walking and Beng Bengs 20 minutes walking. If it's flat or onshore here you can always try the other side of the island or book a boat at the camp. Thank you Handra for putting all of this together and making the trip of our life. We felt we were completely in holidays, no concerns, they took care of us. A marvellous experience with a family that receives us with open heart. The surf spots are near the house, the food is local, and the all trip organization went well from beginning to end. The people on the island are amazing, the nature is wild and different than anything I've experienced, and the water is perfect. My only advice for a brighter future (the only thing that I really miss) is to have bottled fresh water to your guests. After a day at the beach, I missed it!!

Near the main waves of the island, the camp has the best location (better than other famous, more expensive and not so well located), it is possible to surf the main peaks on foot without the need for a boat. The accommodations are good and the staff was like family to us, helpful and friendly. The food was included in our package and was very good, we could enjoy some local delicacies. Plus, it has great transfer and lodging from Padang to the island - all inclusive, which was much easier and cheaper. I only have compliments to Hamdra and Capt, I also thank the partnership d Sinyo, hosting Padang, who helped us a lot in all issues. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy the waves of Mentawai.

This place exceeded all my expectations. Stayed here for 3 weeks and it was absolutely stunning. But what made it excellent was the people. Kep, Rudi, Mama, the whole gang - just unbelievable - So well organized, the food was fantastic, i can't tell if we ate the same meal twice, but it was something new everyday. And lots of it Hahaha! So good. I will definitely recommend this spot to anyone who wants to experience the true local vibe - Plus you have 3 world class breaks right outside. An amazing experience. I will definitely come back here! Thanks guys!

Simple and friendly place right next to all the best waves- accessible on foot. Beautiful beaches. Handra the manager works hard to make your stay pleasant. Good atmosphere at the end of the day when everyone recounts their surfing exploits and makes plans for the next day. Elsa is a great onsite manager who can organise boat trips and answer any question.

Handra's surf camp is amazing. He organizes everything smoothly from Padang airport to the islands. The location is perfect : right in front of Ebay and a small walk to beng bengs or pitstops. Would really recommend it to anyone wanting to have a great trip in the mentawais !

Fully recommended. The place is paradise. If you want to expirience the Mentawai for a cheaper price, this is your option. It is walking distance from 5 waves, the acommodation is good, the hosts are awesome, and the place is stunning. I fell in love with everything, it was a complete adventure.

Contact with handra was good, transfer went all smooth. food was good and plentiful. Crew at the camp was nice. Don't expect to much since it's pretty basic. Not too much fruit around and transfer from and to the camp is expensive, hence the 4 stars.

about transfert speed boat from muara siberut harbour to surf camp then surf camp to harbour is standard price for everyone even to local people. I hope you can understand and visit mentawai islands again for next time at high season so you can get the very good thank you one again for your visit
