The room was big and clean, with a wall mounted TV. The bathroom was a good size with a walk in shower and extra toiletries, this was very clean and lovely and bright. The breakfast was served in the pub dinning room, lots of fruit and cereals to start, the menu for the cooked breakfast was good, and very tasty....

My wife, son and I stayed here for 2 nights in an en-suite room, we were greeted on arrival by Chris the new owner and he could not have been more helpful. The room was cozy, clean and spacious! We also met Cheryl who was a wonderful host! We will definitely be back to stay here, such a nice part...

We stayed on a Sunday night in mid March prior to visiting Lindisfarne during the Monday morning low tide 'window'. As you might expect, the village was very quiet when we arrived. But the pub is right opposite the village store, and there was a mobile post office in the pub car park, so we saw a much more lively...

Stayed here over the weekend with my partner and our little girl. We stayed in a double room which had an en suite. Perfect - very spacious room and very clean and tidy, we were very impressed. Dont kno why all the negative reviews...im baffled..we loved the place,we stayed in room 1 the deluxe room with our litt dog,this place is in a good location for visitin holy island &chilligham castle & other great locations in Northumberland,the room was amazin it was huge & beautifully decorated,the bed was kingsize & was very comfy,we had a big plasma...

We came up for a function to the hotel and were impressed by the minute we entered the building by warm welcome of the staff. They showed us to our room in which we were impressed by the cleanliness and the hygiene of the room, As well as the beautifully cooked breakfast! Arrived early evening only to be greeted by the new owner stating that he did not know we were coming has he was the new owner and all bookings had been cancelled. very good location on the english border very nice room with large ensuite good breakfast the staff were friendly we arrived on a sunday and there was no food at the bar but we drove a short distance to seahouses and enjoyed an evening meal
