We had a wonderful stay at the Toll In Guest Farm. We were warmly welcomed and it was clear that attention was paid to every little detail. Aliwal North is very cold in winter and our cottage was already nice and warm at our arrival as the heating had been switched on before we arrived. We loved the playfull cats...

The place is very boring. The room is okay but is a little bit in disrepair. The owners are very friendly and there are a lot of animals who gives you a warm welcome: dogs, cats, donkey's, ostrich, birds etc. Dog Sky is very funny. He always want to play. He also walks with you the walking trail and the...

We were welcomed by very friendly hosts. The owner of the farm and the entire family felt like friends. There are lots of farm animals all over the farm. There are an awesome walking trail next to the river and a beautiful bridge finished in 1881. I think this must be the most beautiful farm crossing the Orange River coming...

We spent one night at Toll Inn en route from Johannesburg to Hogsback. We had a spacious unit with a well equipped kitchenette, bathroom with shower, double bed downstairs and a big loft upstairs with 2 single beds for the kids. The room opened out onto a patio with table and chairs, and also had a back door out to...

It is very cozy, full of animals, dogs cats, sheeps, birds and rooster who will start his morning performance at 5am. You will not be disturbed by cars ir the light but the rooster... The staff was very helpful, and breakfast also very good, they cooked it fresh for us.

We had an excellent overnight on the way to East London. Beautiful farm and friendly owners. There was everything you would need for an overnight stay - small kitchen, huge bathroom and warm beds. Nice trail along the Kraai River and historic sandstone bridge.

The Toll Inn is a perfect stop over for a couple or family. The mini kitchen with sink and fridge is quaint, but there isn't a stove, so expect to go out for dinner and eat breakfast at the inn. The lady who let us in was V friendly and showed us around and recommended some good spots to eat...
