Loved our stay here. The room was comfortable and quirky and the resort very picturesque and pleasant to stroll around. Staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. The air con was perfect, very cold fridge in the room for your drinks, and a balcony to chill out on with views over the mountains.

Me and a group of friends joined a trekking group and the Wadi Sharm Hotel was recommended. The Hotel is absolutely disgusting. The bathrooms are not the cleanest, the bricks are broken, the beds are as hard as a rock. There are no lights in the room, except for two table lamps- rooms are very dark. Breakfast was provided in the morning- the breakfast was absolutely disgusting. If you have to stay in the hotel, please take your own cereal or granola. Food options are limited and are extremely bad when served. The hotel has no internet, except for the reception area which isn't ideal as you are literally in the middle of no where. Make sure you pack your own snacks and drinks, there are no local stores or amenities within close proximity. The state of the hotel is an absolute shame, because the area has a lot of potential. Probably a 1 star hotel not really 3! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!…

We were originally going to Muscat but decided instead to stay inland, enjoy the stars and wadi/mountain scenery. We were not disappointed. Staff also excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. Anyone planning a visa run to Oman, this is less than an hours drive from the border.

A beautiful natural resort in local style located in remote area between mountains where no civilization, feeling like and ancient cave man. Very relaxing place with activities like swimming pools, barbecue area, zip line for kids, kids playing area, playstation, volleyball ground and mountain climbing. It's good for maximum of two nights only as my point of view. And it's good for rejuvenation and getting rid of tension. And best time to visit is in winter

May11,2018. I took my family to the resort got the entry and swimming pass which I paid way more than their room rates with number of family members came along with me. It was nice enough at the beginning. Around 7pm the kids wanted to go swimming before we leave. They went swimming, the manager sent a staff to me & told me the dumbest thing ever in polite way :"there's one family at the swimming pool now and if don't mind please leave the area. I didn't bother to argue, because i paid to get in,The tickets didn't specify the timings of entry/exit & no one informed us about it. If i knew,I wouldn't pay to get in for 2 hours for such unacceptable rules. Although the people who were swimming doesn't look like family to me (which i didn't say about it -non of my concern ). I hope this reach to them as well to be aware of such unexpected rules and surprises.…

Good place for R and R. The good things were: - nice staff (even thought not trained enough). - spacious room - Quiet and scenic views Everything else was so bad. - A lot of flies and mosquitoes. - wifi - swimming pool was dirty. Lot of leaves floating - restaurant food (I hope they change their chef) and 30 minutes of waiting to serve the food.

A hidden gem near to the wadis, surrounded by mountains. Just 2 1/2 hours from Abu Dhabi. The rooms with a traditional style, caring about all the details. Staff very friendly and helpful, specially Zayed who was very welcoming and our companion visiting the nearest Wadi. Internet signal is availed in almost all the place.

Great little resort in a super location. Wadis, mountains and desert within reach. Some cool pools and dunes. Resort itself is basic but comfortable and helpful staff. Value for money. Rooms are decent and food is good. Really a nice spot to use as hub for some off road trips.

Not recommend to anybody. We were misguided with the high rates of the place. The only good things were: Polite and nice staff(even thought not trained enough). Resort location. The idea about the resort. It seems that it was build wisely some years ago. You can see lovely sunset and sundown. There are a lot of place you can sit outside and enjoy the view. Everything else was so bad. Let`s start with the beginning - it`s good to have working GPS system. We found only one sign about the hotel. We had two rooms - numbers 11 and 12 When we arrived and were settled, we were surprised how dirty it was. A lot of flies inside - flying and dead. Clogged bathroom sink and loathsome bathtub(can`t image somebody can use it) - not cleaned with a lot of suspicious small objects. I thought that may be it`s was a mistake and they gave us not cleaned rooms. We asked staff to clean around. The only effort was to sweep out some flies. Because it was late to go anywhere we had to sleep there. The sheets were clean but think that blankets never meet a washing machine. Will not count the few flies and a small spider on one of the beds. We really hoped that only our rooms were dirty and something could be done but when we see the outside facilities, we realized that dirt is everywhere - swimming pool, kids area. There were nice fountains but never cleaned. Food in the restaurant was overpriced and not good. And we waited for it for more than 30 min. We were starving for nice arab meal, but ended with indian spicy lentil soup, fatoush with 90% green salad, hommous with 3 time more tahin than needed and shish touk who helped my husband to spend his next day in the WC. Yeah, that was a compliment from the staff - sweet brownie which was alright. Om the next morning we ordered espresso only, never wanted to make more experiments. Again surprise - they had an espresso machine but there wasn`t anybody who can make coffee. Couldn`t believe it. And the biggest shock for us was that the hotel was opened only 2 years ago. It looks like it has been explored for 10 without anything done. The wadi around was also very dirty and full of litter. Sorry to say it, but this place need big change and better management.…
