We stayed here for three days. The owners were more than welcoming to us when we arrived just before dark. (The drive from San Ignacio was only 8 miles, however we couldn't have done it without a 4 wheel drive!) The food for the three days was wonderful, too! Such a great cabana - a no bugs, either! Just the...

If you are looking for a real, immersive, jungle experience this is the place for you! Ron was so welcoming and the cabins are put together with thought and care. The outdoor shower was my favorite part! The food was incredible so the more meals you have here, the better! It is set back deep into the jungle, about 15...

My family and I spent a few nights here and loved it. We really liked all the staff and the food was incredible. Ron was very helpful with his suggestions when we were trying to decide what excursions we wanted to do. This is a beautiful and quiet place to stay. It is also located next to a very nice...

We stayed at this small resort for 3 nights and loved it. I'd recommend getting a lift from the airport. (The host, Ron, can put you in touch with a company that does this). Our driver was a wealth of knowledge and geniality. The whole place is off the grid and tries to use mostly solar power, with some generator....

Our family of 6 all agree that the time we spent at the Macaw Bank Jungle Lodge was our favorite of the trip. We spent 11 days in Belize and went from the ocean to the jungle -- the location is just gorgeous and even though you are in the heart of the jungle, Ron and Al and their outstanding...

Our stay there was very laid back and the staff is super accommodating. The meals are fabulous. The menu is family style (same meal for everyone) and were some of the best meals we had in Belize. They have a variety of meat options and the staff goes above and beyond to ask what type you would like. From there...

Been back for almost a week and just realizing how much fun we had. My 14-year old daughter and I spent 4 days at the lodge and had the time of our lives. From our initial booking to our flight back, Ron and his staff went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable at all times. We...

My wife and I stopped here on our honeymoon this summer and the location is absolutely beautiful. Tucked in the jungle with big, beautiful trees and a path that leads you through the woods over hand-made footbridges past mounds of leaf-cutter ants and to the banks of a clear, sandy river. Ron and Al made us feel at home. The...

Hello Andy, Thank you for spending your honeymoon with us, and for still remembering us !! All of our rooms have fans, and the good news is that it almost always cools down at night in the jungle ! It would be cost prohibitive to add air conditioning as we are off grid, and it is very seldom that one...

For the Jungle Experience we have no complaints as it met all our expectations. Our room wasn't quite ready when we showed up, so one of the guys set us up with a couple hammocks where we relaxed and listened to the jungle sounds. There are hummingbird feeders around the bar and restaurant area and they are busy with beautiful...
