We are serious birders, but this was our first trip to Central America, and so we decided to try the Jungle and Sea "sampler" package. Crystal Paradise arranged all the details, including providing ground transportation, food, and outstanding, knowledgeable guides. We couldn't have asked for a better overall introduction to Belize. Over the four days we were at the lodge,... More

We spent a week here this past February and had a wonderful time. Crystal Paradise is not a fancy resort--there is no swimming pool, no fancy bar, no tennis courts. What there is is a wonderful family working together to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. The main lodge and the cabanas are set in a natural environment. Our... More

I really want this place to be great. The care that has gone into making it beautiful is evidenced throughout. It is run by a Belizean family, and not an American hedge fund, which is why we booked. It has taken the family twenty years to build the business and they have done a great job. Victor and his wife... More

Three people, twelve nights, one excellent guide. Andy Tut, one of several members of the Tut family that manage this resort/guide service, picked us up and within minutes we were taking the first of hundreds of pictures and getting to know a bit about Belize. He was our guide throughout the trip, just the four of us in cars and... More

This family run business had a very comfy feel about it and was well manicured. The high roofed palapa style rooms were not only beautiful (good job Ricrado), but very temperate during the steamy hot days. There was plenty of birds flying around the grounds for bird watchers to sit back in the swinging chairs on the big deck and... More

Our group of 8 had great food, lodging and hospitality. The Tut family all worked hard to make sure our visit was special. We saw birds, ruins, waterfalls, swam in river and overall just enjoyed ourselves.

We booked here for a 5 day birding trip. We were picked up in Belize City by our guide, Andy, and we birded on the way to the resort. He also gave us a lot of information about the country on the way. We were welcomed by Jeronie when we arrived. The resort is made up of several blocks of... More

We loved our stay at Crystal Paradise. The staff at the resort was excellent - the food was great. We stayed in the Heliconia Cottage which was comfortable and had AC. Everyone was super friendly and helpful which promoted a lot of interaction among the guests as well. The resort is owned and run by a Belizian family. We did... More

Stayed in the Beyond Paradise house and could never really get comfortable. Would have rather stayed in a cabana on the main property. The house is located a little off-site off the main road and I never really felt safe/comfy, plus was up all night hearing motorcycles and dogs traveling along the road. I guess I thought it would have... More

My husband and I really loved our experience at Crystal Paradise. We went from March 5-9, 2016. One woman at the resort was sick and I... More
