You can't really "drive to the Blue Hole" from Black Rock Lodge. You could fly to Ambergris Cay from the Maya Flats airstrip, about a 30-minute drive from the lodge. Dive trips leave from there, but best to reserve ahead... More

It takes 30-40 minutes to get to San Ignacio & the road from the lodge to the highway is dirt - bumpy. I would not want to drive it in the dark. The lodge can arrange transit to nearby resorts but it takes about 30 minutes... More
