What a nice surprise to suddenly see this beautiful lodge at the end of a dust road hidden in a very nice and charming scenery in the Klein Karoo. Nice cottages, a good pool and tasty food and wines in the restaurant. Henry and Ronel are the bests hosts one can think of! It was top!

It takes a little effort to get here - 5km up a dirt road from the main road and some way off route 62. But it's well worth it. The place is an oasis with an amazing atmosphere. Really good for relaxing and just chilling out for a night or two. We stayed in a chalet and found it very...

What u beautiful Oasis at the foothills of the Rooiberg mountains, situated near van Wyksdorp. Finding this place was a heavenly break ..... doing a motor cycle ride from Prince Albert via Calitsdorp to Albertinia. This place with its beautiful green grass, clear swimming pool and friendly service offered us ice cold beer and a delicious lunch. This is a...

We were pleasantly surprised when we reached the lodge after traveling on a long dirt road from Calitzdorp. The dirt roads in the area are generally in a very good condition. The lodge is surrounded by beautiful mountains and the dam close to the lodge guarantees visits from the game and other animals in the area. The hosts went out...

The little bungalows were neat and presentable. The location is fantastic with all the amenities one requires. This venue is also fantastic for a team building event with the...

Must be experienced to be believed. Perfect stay over, I'm sorry we didn't spend more time and take advantage of this beautiful spot. Ronell cooked diner to perfection and Henry was the perfect host. There must be an invisible army of helpers somewhere, every thing was in its place, clean and inviting and no one seen running around. If you...

We were part of a Subaru 4X4 group which visited Rooiberg Lodge on the weekend 15-16 October 2016. Besides the unspoiled setting between the Rooiberg Mountains, the cottages were immaculate, elegant with stylish interior. Henry and Ronel went out of their way to let us feel welcome and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and prepared and served by them personally. A...
