We spent a weekend at the Rowan Tree Country Hotel, a peaceful situation, comfortable room and excellent food. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will certainly be back, but for longer next time.

The only drawback is lack of a telephone in the bedroom and, often, no signal for your mobile. This is a small price to pay for such quality...

My husband and I spent three nights at the Rowan Tree. Our bedroom was spotlessly clean, well furnished and large. We decided to have dinner there on all three nights and we were in for a treat. The wonderful choice of menu was very well presented. Like me you will have had battered fish and hand cut chips, the simplest...

When we got there the menu had changed a bit but it had become even better for coeliacs...
