We stayed for 4 nights at Villa Kerasia and didn't want to leave. The hotel is a beautiful old house, lovingly restored by it's owner, Babis, who rescued it from ruins and with impeccable taste turned it into a very special place to stay. It has a lovely garden with wonderful sweeping views and a pool with sunbeds. The rooms...

Never would I rate a place with full dots on every expect, but after going to Crete for more then 10 times and staying in many places this is truly an excellent place. The owner has made it in a beautiful small hotel, the food is exellent, so is the wine, great service from the owner as well as the...

We spent three nights at this lovely villa in the countryside about 30 minutes from Heraklion. We had just spent three nights in Chania and were ready for some quiet nights and the villa delivered. Two of the three nights we dined at the villa with fellow travelers consuming lovely food and wine. Breakfast was also one of the best...

We loved our stay in this uniquely styled and restored villa, the big plus without a doubt is the homemade dinner and breakfast, including self-made wines, served at the 12-p table in the central room. Kerasia has a unique feel, is centrally located a little off the main north-south road from Herakleion, in the middle of the vineyards. The owner...

We started out our vacation in Crete here and thought it was wonderful. It is close to the airport, in a quiet beautiful location. The room was beautiful as was the view. Our only complaint was that the bed was incredibly hard and not that comfortable. We had supper one night at the Villa and the food was wonderful, and...

My daughter and I stayed here after finding this on the web. I could not have been more pleased. Clean, quiet, great scenery, and a FANTASTIC host. Bobbis has put so much restoration into the building and made it a truely wonderful place to stay. This is THE place where all romance novels should be set. DO NOT miss the...

Without a doubt, an amazing and wonderful place to stay. I really can't say enough about the place. We stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of September and could have easily stayed longer. The place is spotless, has amazing food, centrally located with beautiful views, and is run by one of the nicest hosts you could imagine. We had...

I stayed in Villa Kerasia for 3 nights in September and had a wonderful time. This is the place to simply sit back, relax and do nothing but read and drink the fabulous wine provided. The host/owner was incredibly nice and made myself and my girlfriend feel very welcome. Breakfast came as part of the deal. Dinner was extra and...

The reviews are all true. The rooms are lovely, the setting is tranquil and the food is excellent. Babis is the perfect host. We came without booking a rental car - big mistake given the busy holiday weekend and Babis went out of his way to help us get one. He was really helpful in guiding us on things to...

Villa Kerasia is an old stone farmhouse lovingly restored by its owner, Babis. It is situated high above the village of Kerasia, about 30 mins drive from Heraklion and the views are breathtaking. Early in the morning the mountains range in color from pink to deep violet and the surrounding villages in the valley light up as the sun rises...
