Lovely place with friendly and very nice People. Brillant breakfast. Carmel, you are great !!! The house is full of beautiful details, the old pictures, the piano, the rooms are so big, and it's a place perfect to rest. Thank you so much for being so kind.

Myself and my other half loved this place from the start. We felt like we were at home as soon as we walked in. The character of the place and Carmels original photos on the wall of the house a number of years ago really added to the comfort of this place. Loved it!

I have stayed in Oakdale Manor on numerous occasions over the years. This weekend my new husband and I stayed there on our visit to Mayo. Apart from the sumptuous elegance and refined character of this period manor house and grounds, Carmel and Tom Ansboro are exceptional hosts. A delightful couple who go the extra mile for the comfort of...

We stayed one night in Claremorris, at Oakdale Manor, and while the visit was short, I came away with 2 thoughts: 1, I wish we could have stayed longer, and 2. if I'm back in Claremorris I would absolutely stay there again. The booking process was seamless, just by Carmel being incredibly responsive. She replied promptly to my email inquiries...

Lovely house and spacious, clean room. We received a lovely welcome from Carmel with tea and biscuits and she couldn't offer to help us enough. Breakfasts are enormous and she's happy to cook you anything you want. Really quiet and relaxing and amazingly cheap. Well recommended!

If you like historic settings and staying in centuries-old manor houses, the Oakdale Manor is a place to try. While very close to the center of town, it feels like one is staying on a large country site. The wonderful home is far more special than the typical B&B, and the host attends to many details when it comes to...
