As per George A's answer literally 5 minutes maximum, Out of the hotel walk a few yards over the road & you are there. The sunbeds in front of most tavernas are free you just need to buy a drink. However when we were there it was very hot & there was a lovely breeze from the land rather than the sea so we walked to some sunbeds that weren't sheltered by the tavernas , paid 5 Euros (the lady we paid gave us two pieces of cake wrapped in foil) & were free to eat lunch at any taverna.
