just returned from 2 weeks in kos at the eleni hotel. Had read some of the reviews and was expecting the worse . pleased to say that the hotel was good, typical of other 2 star greek hotels. Rooms cleaned daily, sheets and towels changed regularly. Breakfast basic, bread ,butter, jam, juice, tea or coffee. For those who want full english breakfast...

The Eleni is a bit of a mixed bag and if you're expecting luxury don't get your hopes up. Our room was quite small but as we only used it for sleeping, it didn't matter too much. Because it's a B&B there's no fridge which is a shame as when temperatures are soaring, it would have been nice to keep...

We arrived at the hotel with Olypmic Holidays who palmed us off very quickly on the hotel owner who took us straight to our room on the ground...

Air conditioning needs to be booked well in advance as not every room has the facility to pay for this neccessity. Spent most of our holiday listening to the complaints of others staying as this hotel. No fridges in room, no kettles. Showers were very hot and cold much like the owners. Breakfast hard crusty bread choice of two types...

About the accommodation there is only 2 things I would change: 1) The beds were very firm, I didn’t mind but my wife found it uncomfortable. 2) It gets very hot at night, so just make sure you book one of the rooms with air conditioning. We didn’t have air conditioning in our room, we didn’t have the option when...
