Party of 11 adults and 2 children vistited October for my daughters wedding. Very pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews. Massive rooms, a little dated but extremely comfortable.spotlessly white bedding and towels and maid service daily. The resorts very pretty set in lovely gardens and right on the beach. Two very large swimming pools, villa pool much quieter...

Would have given 5 stars apart from a few minor issues but still fantastic value for money with breathtaking views of the Caribbean sea and Cuban countryside. Firstly under new management which is not quite as good as the old but still good the food was great but sometimes a little cold but a microwave oven is on standby. Secondly...

My wife and I had our honeymoon here this year and whilst there was plenty to do on site, the facilities were not great. We had to change rooms 3 times in a fortnight due to air conditioning breakdowns. The food on offer as part of the all inclusive package was not great but the drinks certainly made up for...

We arrived on a Tuesday, the first room we were offered (201) after we managed to get in as the key card failed to work was in a terrible state. We paid 28 pesos for the safe (didn’t know this charge was extra but it is) and the safe was hanging off the wall, the balcony doors did not lock,...

Overall nice stay. Nothing fancy or luxurious but nice. Room. We were in bungallows around the second pool. Rooms were very spacious and each had a balcony or terrace. However, furniture was old and used. Bathtub a bit broken … etc. Overall ok room. Beach. Hotel has two big pools. There are small beaches – kind of like little bays...

Brisas Guardalavaca Holguín Cuba, November 9 — 23, 2016. WHO WE ARE: older couple in our mid-70s who are longtime travelers to Cuba. In November 2016 we decided that we would split our two-week Cuban vacation between Brisas Guardalavaca and Brisas Covarrubias. But since Brisas Covarrubias would not be open until late November, Sunwing (thanks Janior) offered and we gladly...

We came back here after a great holiday in November 2014. We didn't realise first time round that it was the hotels anniversary which they host a three day festival and enjoyed it that much we booked again for November 2016. The staff here deserve a lot of credit for their efforts, the groundsmen are constantly keeping the place in...

We’ve been to Cuba (pretty much all over) fifteen times and this was our first stay at Brisas Guardalavaca. It was truly a great week! The resort has two distinct sections. One is the main hotel (231 rooms), which is the houses the lobby and buffet restaurant. It’s the centre as far as most activities are concerned and here many...
