The only hotel in a lovely mountain village, right in the center, between the serrated peaks of the Catalan Pyrenees. Village Hotel Cal Sastre, owners Jesús and Eva Pont, is a place of hospitality and proofs that you should not linger around in Barcelona. Very special: you are here far into the hinterland but this - recently renovated hotel in... More

Great stay, 2 nights. Friendly personel, excellent room. Newly reformed, nice pastel colours. Sastre means Tailor, they have a few sowing details throughout the hotel. Free Wifi that actually worked. Recomended!

We actually picked this place because it was full every where else. Nice surprise. It is indeed a higher range of lodging but you have to consider the included breakfast. The initial place is currently under construction and this one was completely renovated in December 2015. Nice quiet and right in the middle of Santa Pau. Highly recommend it.

We were invited to stay in the newly finished, restored house in Placa Major next fo the restaurant. We had a suite on the first floor. It was huge but it had to be to fit an enormous bed. In addition to the lovely greeting, the room was well supplied with power sockets by the bed, bottled water and toiletries.... More

We stayed at the hotel and had dinner at the restaurant. The hotel was probably the bee's knees 25 or 30 years ago, but is in dire need of renovation. Staff pleasant and helpful, but service, including bar, finishes at 9 pm. Way over - priced. Pleasant garden.

We truly enjoyed our stay in the small boutique Cal Sastre hotel, with its nice interior design and very friendly owner. Nice breakfast with healthy choices. Good and comfortable rooms (if possible: ask the owner for a stay in the terrace room).

My wife, daughter and I recently stayed one night at this delightful hotel. When we arrived the man who greeted us, told us playfully, how we needed to stay longer to truly appreciate the area. He then gave us several suggestions on how to make the most of our short stay. When we realized that we would have to drive... More

Wonderful experience, such kindness and attention afforded by the amazing Nuria who could not have been more helpful and caring during our stay; she always seemed to have time to inform, listen and help. The hotel is so relaxing and personal; a "hotel with soul". We loved Santa Pau and the fantastic Cal Sastre restaurant. Perfect location for walking and... More

We loved this lovely old hotel in the old part of the beautiful little town of Santa Pau. The owner was extremely friendly, helpful and informative about the surrounding area. We also loved the food in the nearby family run restaurant.
