Absolutely a dream vacation in this beautiful cabin for 8 to 10 people. My family in Chicago came to visit us for the first time in Norway and to me, the best way to show Norway to them is to bring them to Dalsnibba, Geiranger fjord, Plattingen (viewpoint of Trollstigen Road), Loen Skylift and Stryn in their 6 days stay in Norway. They felt in love with the location of the cabin right away. Down by a lake surrounded by tall mountains. My nieces made use of the trampoline. They even dared to take a swim in the lake on a windy day but they realized fast that it was not a good idea. Very cold indeed but I just let them see it for themselves. While we were on holiday, the weather was very nice. Sunny all the time. Since we drove from Oslo, we ordered that the beds are prepared upon our arrival and ordered cleaning of the cabin instead of us doing it upon our departure. It was worth paying the extra fee. It took us 8 hours from Oslo to the location of the cabin to drive as we had a number of stops along the way (stopping for breaks and taking pictures of the beautiful nature). Loen Skylift is very close about 30 min to drive while Geiranger fjord was less than 2 hours. The owners were very kind and the mom was the one I talked with most of the time. I would like to come back here. They also have a cabin for 2 to 4 people only. Magical place. To buy food, the town of Stryn is about 10-15 min to drive. I am very glad my guests were very happy with the cabin and the location. I hope their memories of the fjord trip will stay in their memory for a very long time.

Stayed here for 3 nights in April 2018. This location was the most incredible place I've ever stayed. The cabin was clean and cozy. The views were incredible and the property was perfect for little kids with a sand box, swings, trampoline, hot tub etc. Too cold to swim, but I imagine its perfect in the summer. Anita the owner was very accommodating and sweet, especially to our 4 yr old daughter. She let our daughter help feed the baby sheep on their farm and even named a new born after her. Amazing amazing place. Recommend it without hesitation!

Amazing views and cabin! Being right on the lake was spectacular. We loved the grass roof and the cabin had everything you needed. The beds in the 2 bedrooms were very comfortable. You can fish there, but need to get a license-which the owner can sell you. It was nice to be close to attractions like Briksdalsbreen, but removed enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. We also did a side trip to Tvinnefossen and the drive there was beautiful. You will not be disappointed with your stay here!

We went to this lovely place in Norway. What a delight it was. The cabin we stayed in was very comfortable, cosy and peaceful. It was situated by a fjord and the peace and quiet just added to the level of relaxation we experienced. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot, kitchen was well equipped, not that we did much cooking lol! There is an outside large covered seating area where you can barbeque on a summers evening and apparently you can hire a boat and go fishing in the fjord if that is something you enjoy. All in all a lovely time, will definitely go again. The roads in Norway are amazing - clean, very well maintained and low in traffic volume, If you want a hairy ride in a car - go to Trollstigen - amazing! never ending winding roads with stopping places to take in the amazing views. Geirenger Fjord - another one not to miss and definitely take a mini cruise down the fjord - fantastic!

We stayed n Lidabu cabin for a week in August and it was the most beautiful places we stayed in in Norway ( at least 20 during the last years). There was everything needed for our comfort, the view was superb, The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom adequate. Since the weather turned cold the last few days and it rained hard we were glad to find out that we could drink our coffee outside even the rain under the small roof and enjoy the most beautiful view. There were blackberries bushes by the cabin and the landlady told us we could pick as many as we wanted. We even prepared some jam to take back with us. The place is very quiet and the fact we had to go 15 km to the nearest supermarket was no problem since there was a good road. the town had everything we needed including several cafes and cafeterias. and since we needed a doctor a good and quite cheap health service. We loved the place !!!!!
