We stayed at The Calcutts for one night to attend a friend's wedding in Ironbridge. We were welcomed by James who was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were separate to the main house with access via stairs. Our room was cosy, clean and well presented. There was tea, coffee, biscuits and a TV in the room. The bed was...

Visited with friends and really enjoyed our visit. Twin room in the Coach House was clean, warm and comfortable. Nicely decorated room and excellent shower room. Owners are exceptionally helpful and polite and the cooked breakfast was delicious. Good location for Ironbridge as it is a pleasant fifteen minute walk down an old railway pathway to the bridge.

Calcutts House is a very attractive old house full of character and yet comfortable and welcoming and ideally located for exploring The Iron Gorge Heritage Museums. We travelled as two mature couples one of which from overseas on a visit to the UK. We both enjoyed our stay and felt very welcome by our host James from the moment we...

we first visited in 2008 and returned recently, car parking is good, bed large with fluffy firm pillows, the owner is very obliging being willing to add what you fancy, more or less, to breakfast. location is just out of town within walking distance of Blists hill, and the tile museum and craft area, but you will need to drive...

A little difficult to find after dark, so we were grateful for the detailed arrival/parking directions provided ahead of time. We were warmly welcomed by James, had a lovely old room with a great shower, tea tray, etc., and a delicious breakfast the next morning before making the short drive to see Ironbridge.

Lovely looking B&B in a quiet leafy suburb of Ironbridge. Booked via 'Booking.com' where pictures of the house were displayed - it looked good and was recommended. On arrival we were placed in a pokey annex room across from the house - not what we anticipated at all. We accepted this as it was for only one night. While I...

Such a warm welcome from James, made us feel so welcome, such a fantastic bed and breakfast, we stopped in the William Reynolds room in the coach house, lovely and clean and one word sums it up "perfect", we had a full English breakfast, lovely and fresh. Will be back that's guaranteed.

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst walking in the area. We received a very friendly welcome and were offered a cup of tea - an unexpected a lovely touch. Our room was very comfortable although the en suite bathroom was very small. Breakfast had to be ordered the night before, but the freshly cooked food that we chose was...

Booked this last minute and would recommend. Room was part of an old building, small and comfortable. Tea and Coffee available, clean and most practical for a short stay. Good price as well. The owners even did breakfast 30 minutes early for me---that is real service. Only small downside is that Wi Fi did not extend to the old building...
