The staff were very friendly and helpful with information, and the location is good for doing the Tongariro crossing. The bathroom was a bit small but the room was clean and it's a good resting place after the hike (especially with the outdoor spa). The food at the restaurant was average/nice depending on what you ordered but it was very...

As before, we found all the staff & especially Megan who greeted us on reception, exceptionally friendly & helpful. The room was totally functional & very clean & the food was good comfort food for a walk across the Tongariro Crossing & the portions were generous. Will definitely use this hotel again on my next visit to the national park.

We booked in at the Park Hotel as second choice after finding our usual wedding anniversary venue at the big chateau up the road was booked out. The disappointment was short lived. The Park at National Park was more than a compensation. Its a totally different style than the grandure up the road, but it was warm and welcoming with...

We booked this hotel at the last minute as we suddenly decided to do the Tongariro Crossing. Its approximately 20 minutes drive from the end of the Tongariro crossing. If you want somewhere closer to the Tongariro crossing there are maybe two closer options which are 10 or so minutes closer. The hotel itself was fine, especially for the price...

A perfect place for people who wants to have more than the minimum confort after a good trek in the mountains. Very good breakfast, friendly staff, arriving early (8am) we were authorized to take our room anyway.

We had diner at the Spiral Restaurant & Bar in the Park Hotel Ruapehu. We ordered pizza and Fish & Chips. Convenient products – not more to say and not even cheap. We did not stay in the hotel, so the rating is only for the Restaurant.

Great place to stay in the heart of National Park whether here to walk the Tongariro Crossing or just to relax in dramatic surroundings. There is a very comfortable lounge/ bar / restaurant area with a roaring log fire for those chilly...

I had a great stay here. Rooms warm and clean, staff friendly and helpful, food great and open fire lounge awesome place to relax and talk to travelers. Hotel offers self catered kitchen or restaurant meals. After an afternoon of skying this was a great place to come back to.
