Was a bit unsure of a country pub and its quality of food. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and I was pleasantly surprised it was awesome delicious crumbs nice tomato sauce and all in all amazing. One shouldn't always judge the country on other country Establishments.

When attending this pub for a meal on our trip to normaville, I did not have high expectations, a local pub in a small beachside town, the location is quite convenient and the restaurant was only a short walk from our cabin. On arrival we were presented with menu's - go the counter to order :) When we went to... More

Nearby retaurants were fully booked, but this place had a table on Saturday night..... perhaps that was an indication of what to expect. The welcome was timely, the seating a little uncomfortable. The cashier site to place an order moved between being seated and getting drinks from the bar... The food was a bit slow in arriving, considering how relatively... More

I know Normanville well, I lived here years ago, visited and love the place. The local pub on the other hand has led us down twice in a row, the 1st night was a spectacular auction of food coming in drips and drabs but sadly not everyone's! The 2nd time was one where 4/4 chicken Schnitzels were served so raw... More

What a shame! We were looking forward to support local hotel and walked out extremely upset. Terrible service to start with with the owner being sarcastic and not welcoming at all, waited for 1.5hr for our food and they even managed to not delivery 70% of our food, for a great space like that they are not prepared at all... Went to the Normanville Hotel for lunch earlier this year and had the best plate of whiting ever. You MUST try this dish. Kangaroo Island Whiting – battered, herb crumbed or grilled w’ garden salad chips & house made tartare.

Took our 2 grand-daughters to the Normanville Hotel one night for tea as we were staying in the area. There was a good children's menu and a more than adequate menu for the grown-ups. The girls' meals arrived first, which kept them busy while we had a glass of McLaren Vale wine before our meal arrived. Everyone was happy with... More

Meals overly expensive for a pub meal. No wait staff need to go to the bar for drinks. Food Ok but nothing really to rave about, can equally as good elsewhere for lesser price. Wouldn't rush back but would consider going to the Yank Hotel instead.

its Friday night so fish and chips were the order, I have to say both my hubby and myself enjoyed every bite, the chips were crunchy, salad not soaked in dressing, and the fish as grilled to perfection, followed by sticky date pudding, served warm with fresh clotted cream, we usually share desert but hey we are on holidays so...
