We have stayed here many times and it is always a pleasure, it's a haven of peace. The accommodation is well equipped and comfortable. The garden and pool areas are gorgeous. The owners Graham and Brandi very friendly and efficient, a lovely family. We arrived as guests and now feel ourselves to be good friends. We would never stay anywhere...

We had a great time at Villa Tarentaal. The breakfasts were amazing and Graham was super helpful making suggestions and bookings for restaurants. I think we tried all of them in the area. It was VERY hot when we were there so the airconditioning was much needed and late afternoon we just played in the pool . We had a...

Accommodation setting and scenery very nice. Difficult large car access due to tree trunk in drivewayHowever welcome lukewarm and a good place if you like to be constantly checked. Modern day Basil Fawlty would like it here On arrival staff reeled off 4 breakfast choices and gave us 15 mins to advise choice whilst showing us around the room. Staff...

Good morning Cameron Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. You mentioned the accommodation setting and scenery were all very nice. We are glad you enjoyed. We do have a narrow tree lined driveway which is well photographed and displayed on tripadvisor by many guests. There are however no trunks in the driveway which obstruct your...

Of all the places we stayed at on our South Africa trip the Villa Tarentaal was the only disappointment. The cottage was large and comfortable, however, it all needs a bit of a spruce up. Breakfast is served at the cottage which is nice, however, don't ask for anything special, like Earl Grey tea. Graham is helpful with information concerning...

Good morning Valuvalu Thank you for your review. Firstly we are sorry you felt the cottage needs a spruce up. We have a maintenance programme in place and unfortunately you were the last guest to spend a night before the furniture (which was sitting in the garage as they had just arrived) was replaced. New leather couch, easy sitting chairs,...

My family and I stayed over Christmas for a few days this year and were immediately taken aback at how nice everything was with Villa Tarentaal. The amenities were spot on, the location was superb. But the real stand out for us was the care and time Graham (the owner) took to make sure our visit was perfect. I cannot...

We arrived after a long flight and were immediately able to relax. The Villa is run by Graham and Brandi (who we didn't see) but Graham made us very welcome and our room Peacock Suite) overlooked the pool. Every room has their own area in the garden or on the terrace for breakfast which was absolutely delicious. You certainly won't...

Delightful cottage with stunning views of the mountains and a fabulous garden. Graham and his staff could not be more friendly and helpful.
