Lovely location, excellent food, attentive service make this an excellent country inn. The backdrop of the mountains and a real effort to make one comfortable make this a great place to stay. Real attention paid to the preparation of breakfast as well.

Brandi, Graham and staff were friendly and welcoming, the self contained cottage was beautifully presented and fully equiped and no request was too much trouble. The garden and pool are an oasis to return to after a hard days sight seeing and travel around the many local wineries. The breakfasts, individually served in your room or on your verandah, were...

Beautifully decorated rooms en-suite and the most amazing breakfasts were served by Graham and his staff on each persons private verandah area. Attention to detail did not go amiss,...

As a frequent visitor to South Africa and a firm favourite of the Greenwoods Guide, Villa Tarentaal did not disappoint. We stayed the one night on the 11th Nov 2014, and it ticked all the boxes of excellence I would expect from an establishment, listed in the guide. Ideally located just out of the Main area, literally 3 mins car...
