We have just spent a long weekend at Ruswarp Hall and can highly recommend it if you are looking for somewhere to stay convenient for Whitby. The Hall has lovely old features and our room looked out over the garden. The room was on the top floor (we were asked if we were ok with stairs when we booked and...

Friendly bnb, everything you need, no bells and whistles but clean and comfortable. Cute honesty bar too. Good value for money. Quirky house with friendly staff. Only a few minutes drive from Whitby. Highly recommend and will stay again if in the area.

Very enjoyable stay. Breakfast was well above average, very nice. Rooms very comfortable as was the beds. To be honest was a little tired but that is only to be expected with a building this old. Pub at the end of the street made us very welcome. Went a walk along the railway to Whitby took about 20 mins. Went...

This is an old Jacobean house and a group of us ladies took over almost all the hotel for a weekend. They onLy do bed and breakfast. The owners are very pleasant, the breakfasts were well cooked and tasty (lovely sausages!). The rooms were naturally old but I had a good en suite. Beautiful garden and there is a nice...

My husband and I arrived here with two friends on 28th Sept to celebrate my birthday on the 29th. We were warmly greeted by the owner. Our rooms may not have been spotlessly clean, but were comfortable, warm and had amazing views of the garden, with the steam train to Whitby passing close by. Taxis to Whitby cost around £6.00...

We stayed for 5 nights in mid-September when it was a bit cool at night but the room was nice and warm. We had lovely breakfasts, the pork sausages were particularly good and I bought a few pounds to take home from Jacksons butchers a few doors away. The staff were all pleasant and very attentive at breakfast. We had...

A lovely place to come to, with a lot of history. Breakfast was very nice, only topped by the very polite and happy young girl serving it. I felt we were very much left to our own devices, which suited me fine. Though maybe a welcome pack with advice on where to go/what to do would have been nice, but...

Came here to stay Monday - Friday before the bank holiday weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hotel was stunning and the breakfast was amazing with sausage and bacon from the butchers next door. It's a short walk down a countryside footh path into Whitby and the views are just stunning! Fully Recommend!
