We stayed at El Vinten for 3 nights at the end of a fantastic 3 week holiday in South America and it really was the perfect way to finish our trip. Dolores arranged for us to be collected at our hotel and returned to the airport in style by the charming Sergio and, from the moment we stepped into the...

It was like staying with your favourite godparents as Dolores and Hugo made every effort to show us the best that Argentina has to offer. Stunning location as we looked out from the terrace over the river to la pampa beyond whilst sipping G&Ts with lemons from the nearby tree. Dolores carefully planned each day depending on the weather and...

Well this was just magic, as recommended by other TripAdvisor reviews. We were beautifully looked after by Dolores who is the most perfect hostess and now a firm friend who I hope will always be in my life. It is now several weeks since we were at El Vinten but we are still glowing from the experience. I fulfilled an...

Following a glowing recommendation from a close friend, we booked 3 nights at El Vinten at the end of a 2 week trip around Argentina. From the very first email from Dolores, and her charming correspondence from thereon after, we knew we were in for a treat. Dolores's country retreat, El Vinten, is the perfect escape from the bustle and...

We stayed for 3 days at the end of a 3 weeks holiday in Argentina and it was just perfect. Beautiful location overlooking the river and excellent hospitality from Dolores, Hugo and their team. More like staying with friends than any hotel. Plenty to do with riding, river trips and looking around the local town but most of all just...

My wife and i visited Argentina for 8 days, our first "big" trip without our children. Knowing that we would spend 5 busy days exploring Buenos Aires we wanted to find an Estancia in close proximity to Buenos Aires for our final 3 nights. I am still not sure how i found El Vinten on the web, but so glad...

Three years on (I stayed in Dec 2010) and I still think about my stay at this estancia with fond memories!! Dolores and Hugo were such wonderful hosts and made the trip that even more memorable. Where to start...I had so much fun horse riding by the river, eating the best food I had in Argentina, interesting conversations with the...

We were lucky to spend three nights at this lovely estancia in January of this year. Dolores and Hugo were the most welcoming hosts, making sure we had everything we wanted (and even things we didn't know we wanted!). We feasted, rode horses, and had very interesting conversations. We also had the chance to lay by the pool and relax....

We were in search of the perfect way to spend Valentines Day this year. We researched dozens of potential estancia experiences from Buenos Aires to Cordoba. We were based in BA and because of time constraints we felt that it was important for us to maximize our experience by reducing travel time. El Vinten is a 1.5 hour car trip...

From the moment we arrived at the local bus station (where we were picked up and taken to a great local restaurant) to leaving El Vinten we felt genuinely well taken care off by the owner couple Hugo and Dolores. The two, together with their resident caretakers made a superb effort of making us feel comfortable for the entire stay....
