Stayed here for 5 nights on business. Old fashioned (no internet and tv only in main sitting room) but your host Margo is beyond comparison. A wonderful woman who makes you feel right at home. Great chats, stories and local advice in front of a peat fire. Lovely breakfast and homemade brown bread, tea and cakes in the evening. You... More

Had a good stay at the Dun-Vreeda House B&B. My wife and I were in Carrigtwohill check on so family heritage, it was late in the day and asked for a b&b. We were directed to Margot's b&b. I had a most pleasant experience staying here during a work trip to the area. Margot the landlady is like a character from an old fashioned story and she provides the warmest of welcomes with a cup of tea in a china cup as she chats to you by a cosy fire. I normally hate b& b's but I am... More
