What we liked: The location is absolutely fabulous - the guesthouse is in a fortified medieval hilltop village. The views from the roof terrace are spledid. The rooms are a bit basic, but comfortable and clean. The restaurant serves abundant and tasty dinners. What we did not like so much: The wifi is limited to the reception area (and there...

Traditional Berber hospitality. Ancient Kasbah is undergoing renovation. Some rooms still need improvement, and we needed to change from our first room but replacement was very good. Old building, so complicated to find your way around, but that is easily compensated by the splendid location and views from ramparts. Excellent food each breakfast and dinner. Different Tagine each night, and...

A beautifully preserved piece of history. Restoration is still ongoing. A mixture of different sorts of rooms some with simple ensuite wet rooms some with private or shared bathrooms nearby. Groups of rooms had small sitting areas. There was no communal area or bar for a larger group to gather. There is a roof terrace with spectacular views. Apart from...

We were attracted to this hotel by the ambiance and other reviews. It is a very interesting structure, with a lot of character; however, when we stayed, the rooms were unheated and freezing. In fact the only heating in the whole place was a small and inefficient log burner in the dining room and the manager, Malika was unable to...

A unique accommodation in an authentic Kasbah. Malika and Jamal are very friendly and welcoming hosts. The atmosphere is relaxed and definitely the best place to stay to access the climbing areas around. All other guests were climbers as well. Rooms are comfortable but basic (no heating in the rooms, shared shower and restrooms, wifi limited to Jamal’s office). The...

Another two weeks based at the Kasbah, a very distinctive and special place to stay. Basic but very comfortable accomodation, excellent food and staff who are most welcoming and bend over backwards to make your stay a good one. It's the ideal base for exploring this part oif the Anti Atlas, in particular for climbers and walkers. Sitting on the...

Well this is quite unique and very special. The restoration work that Jamal has acheived is incredible, creating comfortable accommodation in a unique and authentic...

This was not the first time that I stayed at the Tizourgane Kasbah. It is unlikely that it will be the last. The place is exceptional in many aspects. A miniature fortified city on a conic hill, it is impressive from the outside, and unpretentiously authentic on the inside. A ruin a few years ago, this family property is restored...

The anti Atlas is beautifull to drive through ! This little village perged on the hill is very beautifull. You can park your car safely behind a gate. Luggage can be lifted with a liftrope. Owners are very friendly. My compliments to the cook who took care of me as i was the only guest and the owners went away....
