Off a cruise ship, we had contacted Bananarama in advance and paid for the transfer, free drink (any drink) that was well worth it.
Its a bit awkward coming off the ship and walking further to catch the appropriate cab company and they did pack...More
Our stay at Banarama was in one of the cabanas. All of our needs were met. If we had a problem it was addressed immediately. Our cabana was always clean with fresh towels awaiting after our under water adventures. The staff was always attentive and accommodating....More
We fell in love with west bay beach from a cruise ship trip 2011 and had to come back! Banarama was so relaxing as we spent most of our day snorkeling, swimming and paddleboarding in the clearest water we have ever seen and at night...More
First of all, we did not stay overnight. We came by taxi from Mahogany Beach area. We paid the entrance fee, and two of us paid extra to rent snorkel equipment. (By the way, the snorkel equipment was not the best). The beach was nice,...More
Friends have told us of Roatan and Bananarama for a few years, we were skeptical but bought a groupon and tried it. It was well worth the money. While this is rustic, no TV, no pool, it's a very nice place to relax. The wifi...More

Not at the front desk, but there's a tour desk on Bananrama beach that offers tours. We've used them for excursions to Cayos Chinos, Pigeon Island and other tours and never had a problem. Also you can contact Steven Hamilton and he can address all of your tour needs. He is a great guy and very trustworthy. His website is discoverroatan. We've stayed at Bananarama 4 times and plan to return in May 2018.

I have been several times, the last one being February 2017. Was surprised to see that prices are up a lot since my last trip. I live in Toronto, and I think prices for food/drinks were pretty comparable, but in US dollars instead of Canadian, so expensive. so, say 40 US for a good meal with wine.
However, the local options (where locals eat and drink) are much cheaper than the beach resorts, ie, on the little road leading to Bananarama there is a local rice/chicken place, excellent and very cheap. A bottle of liquor is pretty cheap also.

Hi: They do and the outlets are same as US. As the person stated above, I brought my own travel size but we stayed a week. Also, for the benefit of travel, I suggest you carry extra cash with you because if the power does go out on the island which means the whole island, credit card, bank machines etc do not work and most business to not have the old machines where they take your card and make a carbon copy of it. Great place to stay and best vacation experience of our lives though, I would not change a thing accept the power maybe :-)
