We brought a water taxi from the West End village. It ended up being a rain day, so we sought shelter at the beachside bar at Bananarama. We stayed a few hours hoping the rain would let up (which I did not). We ordered a...More
We were part of a group of 6 that went to Roatan for 8 days to relax , shop, and dive. We were impressed with this resort and feel that it indeed is one of the best places for family friendly groups. A lot of...More
I went there on a groupon, so there was a lot of bang for my buck. The scuba-diving was unforgettable (though it got pricey) the drinks were awesome, especially their daily specials (although those too got pricey) and the beach was unbeatable..glad that was free....More
We stayed at Infinity but due to lack of stocked bar, towels, and staffing we went here daily.

We stayed at Banarama in July for 12 days and it was amazing! I was blessed to be a part of a group of 33 who traveled to Roatan to help those in the most need. We got to know our servers, Alex and Carolina...More

Not at the front desk, but there's a tour desk on Bananrama beach that offers tours. We've used them for excursions to Cayos Chinos, Pigeon Island and other tours and never had a problem. Also you can contact Steven Hamilton and he can address all of your tour needs. He is a great guy and very trustworthy. His website is discoverroatan. We've stayed at Bananarama 4 times and plan to return in May 2018.

I have been several times, the last one being February 2017. Was surprised to see that prices are up a lot since my last trip. I live in Toronto, and I think prices for food/drinks were pretty comparable, but in US dollars instead of Canadian, so expensive. so, say 40 US for a good meal with wine.
However, the local options (where locals eat and drink) are much cheaper than the beach resorts, ie, on the little road leading to Bananarama there is a local rice/chicken place, excellent and very cheap. A bottle of liquor is pretty cheap also.

Hi: They do and the outlets are same as US. As the person stated above, I brought my own travel size but we stayed a week. Also, for the benefit of travel, I suggest you carry extra cash with you because if the power does go out on the island which means the whole island, credit card, bank machines etc do not work and most business to not have the old machines where they take your card and make a carbon copy of it. Great place to stay and best vacation experience of our lives though, I would not change a thing accept the power maybe :-)

"Room 25 was right on the ocean but very quiet considering the beach traffic."
