We stayed 7 nights & had a great trip to Roatan! Henry Morgan felt very "islandy" & laid back. The room was just as pictured- romantic tropical feel. I recommend requesting a top floor room. The workers were wonderful at all times. We felt very...More
If you are a picky American and don't enjoy culture other than yours, don't come here. If you are looking for a complete experience of the culture and hospitality of the island I reccommend Henry Morgan. The employees were amazing, friendly and incredibly kind. It's...More
The hotel itself looks like it was built in the 1700's by a very drunk pirate (presumably Henry Morgan himself)

My husband and I spent one week at Henry Morgan. Our room and the property were very clean. The A/C worked great and the room was a very good size, comfortable, and it had a mini fridge. We had a room on the bottom floor...More
Not our first time to the tropical jewel of Roatan, Honduras. Our expectations were properly leveled - clean decent hotel, beautiful beaches requiring a little bug spray and tremendous diving. Our early May trip featured absolutely perfect weather and the diving truly met expectations.

We spent time with a few people who were staying at Henry Morgan and were traveling solo. They were fine on all of the tours and going in to West End alone. You will probably meet people anyway, as most of the people visiting the resort were super friendly and we made lots of friends.
I highly recommend the tour of the island, booked through the resort. Jose was our guide and we visited the Iguana Farm (meh), a local park where we visited with monkeys and birds (awesome), visited Punta Gorda (amazing) and several other fun experiences like hocolate and rum tasting. The tour made us want to visit the island again, just to see more!
I also did the night snorkel with TGI Diving (at the resort) and all the snorkelers were solo. Highly recommend!
