The room was delightfully appointed and exceptionally clean. My host was extremely helpful and gave very clear directions. Breakfasts contained extremely generous portions. Overall, probably my favorite accommodations in any country I have visited.

I stayed at La Maison Bacana for two nights, and it was great. The place was very homy and Fred was very welcoming as a host. The breakfast was nice and Fred was very helpful with information that visitor would ask (about location, route, etc). As I stayed there in december during the holiday season, the place was decorated so...

We loved our stay at La Maison Bacana! The hosts, Fred and Mann, are so helpful. Each morning at breakfast, we were asked our plans for the day. Our hosts were happy to offer suggestions to supplement our plans; and even gave us maps they created with recommendations. The rooms are nice. The beds are comfortable (yea!). We loved the...

Fred is sublime! He totally greeted us with his warm embrace, showed us around his charming place, offered us drinks and snacks, and sat down with us a few minutes to help us with tips and maps of the city and train stations - even gave us restaurant recommendations. We lucked out on free street parking, and walked to the...

Mand and Fred are wonderful hosts that are full of information to help your stay in Paris be enjoyable. They have created a peaceful, very secure, retreat that is convenient for both business and holidaying. Although budget, the rooms are very comfortable and very nicely decorated: Everything is fresh and puts to shame more expensive Parisian hotels... The courtyard, and...

Fred was good to us. Like the uncle we never had. Everytime I eat a baguette from this day onward, I will remember his warm embrace. The world needs more people like Fred, I will pray for longevity and peace within his life. Live, laugh, love. Euronigz
