I am currently staying at The Mango Bay in Holetown Barbados. If you are thinking of coming here in the next few weeks be aware that there is substantial work being carried out on the beach in front of the hotel. Because of this work you can not really go onto the beach. The hotel staff are doing everything they...

Reading some of the other reviews must say I am shocked, our experience at Mango Bay was totally different to others. Having arrived at the hotel we were welcomed by reception after a long flight and given a cold towel and fruit punch. After this we were told we needed to provide a credit card (but not explained why -...

Endorse the most recent review and cannot thank the staff enough for their goodwill and friendliness. Truly a shining example for the rest of the Caribbean and we have many years worldwide to compare. On-going beach works are a necessary intervention but would not put us off if we were booking now to visit in the next few weeks. The...

We've just returned from our first holiday in Barbados. Prior to going I checked all the suitable hotels for my wife and I. After much checking on Tripadvisor site and other similar sites we settled on Mango Bay. As soon as we arrived we knew we'd made the correct choice. Staff were very welcoming and our room was well eqipped...

Just had a lovely holiday here, despite construction noise and restricted access to beach . Staff are lovely and helpful doing their best to cope with difficult conditions ie no notice from authorities etc . We were moved as soon as mentioned noise from lorries. Food was good and you could order something different if you didn't fancy anything on...

Have just returned from three weeks at Mango Bay. As it was our 50th wedding anniversary, we were hoping to have a very special time together and we certainly did thanks to the Manageress Shireen and her team including the lovely Marcia and Erica. We had booked an oceanfront room which was nicely decorated, clean and well presented, the bathroom...

First of all, I'm surprised reading someone else's comments saying that food served in the restaurant of this hotel is great. This is definitely not my opinion. It's not well cooked and not much else interesting. Really disappointed with that minuscule gym too. Only 3 aerobic machines, a few free weights and too much hot inside. Yes, there's an aircon...

Just return from our third visit in five years, the service and staff are fantastic, but there seems to have been a reduction in their numbers!! The manager Shareen is the best! Very friendly and on top of her job, pity she does not seem to get the back-up she deserves. She will be a sad loss to the hotel...

Had a short 7 days stay with mango bay. The start of our trip was spent in room 409 which is located near to the main entrance of the hotel and near to the road side. We was not happy with the room and requested a changed. This was done very efficiently without any issues thanks to alison in reservations....
