Upon needing somewhere to stay for a couple nights, walked into Bondi Backpackers off of the street. Paid $33 a night for; no bed linens, a smelly room, no wifi (except when sat in the kitchen stealing from the cafe next door), no "free" breakfast (you have to pay for utensils), disgusting bathrooms (only clean within the first 10 minutes...

Free wifi was actually only for an hour, and only lasted about 10 minutes. Free breakfast was actually 5$ They blasted the AC then made you pay 5$ for the blanket. Bed was awful, view was awful. Bathrooms were beyond disgusting. No communication between staff, which resulted with my friends and I getting screamed at by a rude french employee...

Awesome party vibe with a melting pot of nationalities. Worth it for a backpacker. Probably not worth it booking a solo room as the bathroom facilities are in a pretty awful with dirt and the double rooms not supplying blankets or towels. As a backpacker though it would be fun. Great views across Bondi beach.

Me & my partner visited Sydney on Easter weekend an decided to stay here. The location is good straight across from Bondi beach. The free breakfast is corn flakes or muesli & tea/ coffee, there was no sugar provided and you had to put down a deposit for a cup/spoon/knife/fork/towel or blanket, infact almost everything & that was on top...

No, no, no, just no! I understand this is a budget place but i do not think its too much to expect something to cover yourself with. The pamphlet says "bottom sheets and pillowcases are provided FREE." No they are not free - they are paid for with the room. If you want a blanket its $10 deposit plus a...

Great staff and location. Rooms aren't very clean, bathrooms were not well maintained at least during our stay, rooms and bathrooms smelt like moth balls. Wifi for an hour and extra charges for more and for anything else you'd need like cutlery or a bowl for their free breakfast which is dry oats and one other cereal option with milk....

I stayed here for a few nights, originally booked for over a week but had to move out because it was so dirty and smelly. It's a large hostel, full of young travellers around 20, most had been there a while and had made it super cliquey. For the size of the hostel the common rooms, especially the living room...

Most depressing place my friend and I have ever been, the people are nice (but random), and it has got great views but the general vibe is not ideal. Don't go in the bathrooms , shower on the beach. We were there on a rainy day but it is bizarre how people are living there for long term.

I lived here for nearly a year whilst in Australia for 2 years. It wasn't my plan at first to stay so long but I met the most amazing people and just loved it! It was like home to the people who lived there and we where all a little Bondi family! If you are travelling Sydney you have to...

We stayed in a private room at the hostel for about 2 weeks. The room was barely ever cleaned and was so hot. The only time you can use the shower is at midnight when know one is around- same goes for the kitchen, which is small and dingy. Hostel is a hostel though and I really don't know what...
