If you just want to see "the biggest pool on earth" or try to buy a day ticket or something like that - NOT ALLOWED. What the ....? I came from Austria just to see it - no chance. They just don't know how to deal with tourists. Too bad! Will no one recommend to go there.

I was there in October and it is a nice huge pool, but that's it. The apartments are overpriced and there was nobody anywhere. The pool is great but then, the beach that is right below is not for swimming or anything. There is a lot of waves and current, that's why the artificial lagoon is great. I think it... More

I was here in September and wanted to go in the summer time but this was the only time I could go. You have to wire money they take no credit cards so this was a hassle. There was no one on the property seriously but me and my girlfriend. The resort is beautiful the swimming pool is amazing and... More

This might have been the best place I've ever stayed at. It was definitely worth going even in the wintertime but you can't do as much other than walk the beach and go in the hot tubs. The big pool is for boats only and only those who are owners can take the boats out in the summertime from what... More

Our children were part of the planing for our trip to Chile and the first place they suggested to visit was San Alfonso del mar. The reason was to swim in this beautiful swimming pool which seems to be the biggest artificial lagoon or swimming pool in the world. We rented an apartment in the highest floor and the expectations... More

we spent 3 days in San Alfonso del Mar and had a wonderful time with our 2 teenagers and our niece. The apartment was nice and clean and it had a beautiful view of the resort and beach. The beds were confortable and the kitchen well equipped. There were a few things that could be updated, but it did not... More

I went to San Alfonso because my children were looking forward to seeing the biggest swimming pool in the world. The apartment was exquisite, clean, comfortable and beautiful, the view was breathtaking. We missed a good wifi though. The swimming pool was definitely big but we were disappointed because we weren't allowed to swim in it.

We rented a 3 bedroom apartment for a long weekend, on the 7th floor we had a great view and a lovely terrace for BBQ´s in the evening. The large pool is actually for sports, but each beach area has its own dip pool which was lovely and big enough for all. Im not sure if all apartments are the... More

We enjoyed our visit there. The apartment was spacious and clean with great views. The pool is quite impressive and has some fun features, like the trampoline. The negatives were almost no restaurant options there, and there are some things, like using the kayaks, that only apartment owners can do. The indoor pool is very expensive, and the beach by... I read the reviews only after booking the apartment and was a bit afraid if we would get what we had expected. And yes, we would. The apartment was just awesome (they have different owners so can't say about others). Right above the pool. The pool magnificent. It's truth that you can't swim in it but the other smaller pools...
