This was a really nice place. The design and décor were really nice. The common room for breakfast and the wonderful tea time sunsets was very comfortable and inviting. We weren't able to get one of the tree houses but our room (cascade) was very roomy and appealing with many neat features like a private outdoor sitting area with a...

We stayed in the Avalon treehouse for 2 nights, and we wish it had been for much longer! It is truly a spectacular experience. Jenn has made it her mission to make sure you have an unforgettable stay; her attention to detail provides a very special experience. She has a great knowledge of the area and can help you plan...

Our room "rising sun" was beautiful and large there is a deck, sitting area, mini fridge and waterfall shower. For best pressure, leave it on the waterfall. The breakfast was good, especially the French toast which my husband will be expecting me to replicate. There is also fresh fruit and baked goods. In the evening they have a savory and...

I highly recommend this B&B/boutique hotel. My only caveat is to book early and get one of the real treehouse rooms. I stayed in the main house, in essentially what was a renovated basement. We certainly had a good view of the garden ... but we were in the renovated basement. Pluses: 1) Five o'clock "tea" with drinks, snacks and...

This is not only a luxurious, beautiful, and private little spot to stay, it is also very special because Of the people. Jenn and Gary, the owners are right there if you need anything, or if you would like to go on a tour, or see a quetzal, or have dinner at an incredible restaurant downtown... Jenn will take care...

We had an awesome experience while here! Costa Rica is an amazing country, I have to admit it was sad to leave. Jenn was quite knowledgeable about the area and very friendly. Her infectious spirit was inspiring! I highly recommend a stay here for at least a couple nights when you visit Costa Rica. There is a lot of adventure...

You know that feeling of pride that shows in a farmer's smile when he offers up his good at the farmer's market? Or the pride of a chef when she sees how much you love the flavors of her food? Well, this place has that kind of pride. Jenn and Gary are absolutely wonderful hosts and their pride shows in...

When I arrive at a destination and it exceeds my expectations at every level I want to shout out and tell the world, come and enjoy this extraordinary place. Previous reviews have mentioned many of the outstanding amenities and I certainly agree. But, for me, it was the realization that Jen has dedicated the last 10 years in building and...

We stayed in Rivendell with some friends and it was a wonderful experience. It's not really a treehouse -- more of a tree mansion! Spacious, beautiful and well-appointed. Jenn goes out of her way to make her guests comfortable, The tours she arranges are top-notch. It was clear to us, from our day and night tours through the Cloud Forest,...
