The cottage was spotless. Our host was wonderful and charming. The garden is very well maintained. The cottage is also a historical place, it has a lot of character. Port Alfred was an amazing place, we loved it.

Thank you Cynthia, a really beautiful cottage, great self catering facilities and a wonderful welcome, what a pity we couldn't stay longer. Didn't have time for breakfast, am sure it would have been great. Gary and Chanda

This is an beautiful little B&B. The owner Cynthia is very warm and welcoming and makes you feel right at home. The gardens are beautiful, I only wish I could get mine to look like that! The rooms are lovely, the beds comfortable and the fridge and kettle were very much appreciated. It's just a pity there is no sea... More

This delightful cottage is exactly as described on the websites. The breakfasts we had here were absolutely delicious. Not the same old boring bacon and eggs you get everywhere else. I just have to mention that we were on holiday and would have loved to sleep in a little. Other guests were leaving early and had their breakfast early and... More

We are not people who "complain" easily as we have owned a B&B ourselves and stayed in many. However, when we tried to provide her with 2 complaints so that she could maybe sort out for next guests, she got aggressive. I strongly urge holidaymakers to steer clear of this place for the season. We wanted to tell her that... More

Dear Kevin and Marcelle, I wish to apologise for the appearance of being a hostile person , this is not usually how I am had a terrible night before(health) and usually I am able to handle it. Looked into your complaints and have taken care of the problems mentioned as well as tree branch hitting against the roof, must admit... More

What an esquisite little hidden away "cosy" cottage, it is the perfect place to be @ home away from home!! :) Nestled in a lush green "foresty" garden which makes you feel like you are in the middle of a "nature reserve". Such a wonderful en-suite with all the necessary "homely" feel attributes! Rest and relaxation.....need i say more! Cynthia... More

Cynthia thank you very much for your sincere welcome and hospitality. The cottages were cosy and very very clean. We enjoyed your well prepared sumptuous breakfast. We really experienced an old world charm in the beautifully renovated cottages. We can definitely recommend Coral B & B.

We loved it here. Cynthia is wonderful as a host and you can expect something a bit different for breakfast every morning. It's great so remember to book the breakfast if you are going for the self-catering unit. The location overall is close to everything in Port Alfred, but provides a bit more out of the way privacy!

“We stayed in the self-catering unit and its definitely the best option if you are looking for a romantic weekend away. All the cottages are beautifully renovated and captures the Settler's style very well, but the two B&B cottages are very close together. So the self-catering unit is definitely the way to go if you want a bit more privacy.”
