For anyone who enjoys roses this is a must, each rose is named and the landscaped garden surrounding them is extremely well planned. The cafe was really nice and the scones were really tasty! We will definitely return for the re charging of our souls.

We visited Wynyard hall on Monday as part of my son's birthday lunch. Upon arrival the young lady that served us was polite and courteous and showed us to our table. We all ordered afternoon tea and explained to the young lady that my son had a nut allergy so that we didn't get any food containing nuts. Our food...

We had family visiting from Australia and decided to use Wynyard Hall for a family gathering thinking it would impress our visitors. It impressed all right, but for all the wrong reasons. Perhaps it is a bad idea to use a wedding venue when they have a wedding on, as other customers always seem to come a long way behind...

A very welcoming and beautiful hotel, which I was pleasantly surprised welcomed young children with their arms wide open! The attention to detail and flavours of the food were exquisite. My only criticism is that you had to travel down a spiral staircase from reception to use the bathroom, which my pregnant wife struggled with however, there is a disabled...

I have visited Wynyard Hall on many occaisions and loved it. Ithas now added a day time cafe to it's grounds. Lovely setting and shop. I only live up the road so was delighted to have a more casual excuse to visit Wynyard Hall. However, it can't seem to get it's act together: -staff need some customer service training, not...

We went to Wynyard hall for an afternoon tea after recommendations from friends. Having had afternoon teas at various hotels, I have to say we were delighted. The afternoon tea was lovely, I particularly enjoyed the range of sandwiches and the different breads they came on. The gentleman's afternoon tea was equally as impressive, with pork pie, scotch egg, smoked...

Decided to try here as a treat for our wedding anniversary. At the reception and directed to the restaurant reception where we were greeted and seated immediately. We were presented with a wine list and a la carte menu; however subsequently we found there was a brasserie menu also - we were not offered this option, however pleased that we...

Hi, I stayed here with my boyfriend for his birthday along with his brother and girlfriend. We got one of the cheaper rate rooms (suite apparently) holding 4 people. We were not told at any point that we would really be getting one bed and one tiny sofa bed or we would have booked two rooms. We were also not...

I love the hotel and setting at Wynyard Hall - even the afternoon tea wasn't bad. I keep going back hoping the service will improve but based upon my last visit it unfortunately hasn't. After sitting for 15 minutes at 4pm (which wasnt busy) I had to actively find someone and asked if they would take our order. We ordered...
