We were driving around the southwest of Sardinia with a map and no plans, when we found this place. We'd been looking for a place to stay and eat but there was nothing open around Guspini-Arbus-Fluminimaggiore, then, as if out of a fairy tale, we see this perfect little stone steps with a sign that reads 'aperti tutti i giorni...

We had a very warm welcome by the host Marco, he helped us with our luggage and showed us to our rooms. The rooms are clean, good sized and comfortable. The wifi is free but doesn't reach the rooms and is extremely slow but then again, if you want to go on the internet you might as well stay home...

His mother Paula cooks a great traditinal Sardinian dinner, which the guests get to enjoy at a...

Superb evening meals and basic Italian breakfast with home made products. Gorgeous pool which was very welcome after a cycle day!! Would return and highly recommend to everyone !!

Our stay at La Quercia was memorable. Beautiful surroundings, great food (thanks to Marco's mom), comfortable and attractive accommodations and above all a very warm welcome by the family. I would go back tomorrow.

Marco & his mother made our stay at La Quercia extremely enjoyable, offering us a number of rooms to choose between when we arrived. We opted for a newly fitted out room with a lovely view. Some of the rooms are more old-fashioned and 'without frills'. However, Marco has big ambitions for the place and is very keen on modernising....
