A lovely location so close to Calais. A very nice hotel, friendly staff, and very important to us : we could bring our little dog along. The weather was kind so we went to the beach and had a look at the cliffs and we could see England in the distance. Well worth a visit.

This was our third visit having been introduced to the hotel by friends some 10 years ago.The hotel is in a beautiful location in a valley below Cap Blanc NEZ really close to the coastal path. The personnel couldn't be more friendly and helpful and the breakfast and food in the restaurant are excellent. We imagine many guests only use...

This is a very nice hotel near the lovely town of Calais and very convenient for the Channel Tunnel; Escalles is very well placed for fine walks along the coast. We received a warm welcome and ate well in the restaurant.

Took my husband to this hotel for his birthday. Have been before, quite a while ago, so was hoping it was as good as our memories. It didn't fail. It's a beautiful hotel situated in a tiny village, surrounded by stunning countryside Staff & customer service are second to none. Very good choice of food and cooked excellently. Had a...

I have been visiting here for around thirty years. It is an unpretentious hotel which manages to keep abreast of the times and never palls. It is almost impossible to believe that somewhere that feels so off-the-beaten-track can be within minutes of Calais and the A16 motorway.

Says it all in my heading. The hotel is barely five minutes from the A16 so convenient whichever direction you are travelling. Our room was ideal for our overnight stay and, in a nod to Brits who appreciate a cuppa, offered a kettle and tea & coffee making facilities. The bed was really comfortable. The restaurant, which is run separately,...

Situated in the middle of a small village, this hotel is surrounded by beautiful scenery and rugged coastline. Who would have thought such a gem could be found just outside Calais? Our only disappointment was that we were only staying for one night. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We were shown to our room and...
