We stayed at this hotel for 5 times and we hope next summer we will be back. It is beautiful hotel with great service, top quality meal in nice and quiet location. Private garden with sunbeds and sea view is great. The pool and rooms are clean, nothing to complain.
Nobody at the hotel, inlcuding the reception, book-keeping, management and maids, wears masks despite a clear order by the Croatian Government to do so. Neglected hotel surroundings are filled with trash, there is no hand sanitizer available, sun beds and umbrellas are not cleared in the evening which results in them being permanently „booked” by other guests by attaching items such as surf boards, toys, air matresses and locking them up with metal strips and locks. The owners either show up every few hours to sit there for several minutes, or not at all. As such on the hotel lawn there are private zones created by other guests, unavailable to other guests. Not only there is not enough sun beds and umbrellas available to all the guests, because e. g. two guests took four sun beds and two umbrellas for themselves (or more). Nobody working at the hotel cares, nothing is done about it. You can either accept this fact or argue about it, but then you can run into trouble and forget about you peaceful vacation. I have also not once seen common halls, rooms and corridors being disinfected, including the elevators. I booked a two-person double de lux room with a sea view. Using the appropriate comment section during reservation, we asked for a room on a higher floor. I received an answer that this will not be a problem and the hotel will gladly prepare one for us. On our arrival we reiceved a room the fourth floor, which in fact was the hotel’s attic. It also was not the type of room we booked, it was a garden-view room, the sea was barely visible on the side of the balcony. In the and, after a rude conversation with the reception, we reiceved a proper room right above the hotel’s restaurant – the hotel lost any credibility to us at this point. Smokers and non-smokers are not separated despite the hotel claiming to do so. If you’re unlucky, other guests sitting directly next to you may make your every meal miserable because of the cigarette smell. We felt bad and disregarded by the hotel staff, except for the amazing waiters. Wi-fi signal is also very poor. As a final note, there is also a port-a-john (a portable toilet) right in the middle of sea-view. Lovely.…
This nice Hotel situated in Porat at the far end of Malinska Bay is excellent in every possible aspect with the exception of having a private beach at the seaside. Staff is great and extremely helpful. Food is very good and I only missed a few more wines. Pool and Jacuzzi are great. SPA is nice and masseuse is doing great job. Everything is exceptionally clean. All in all really great place to stay.
We were looking for a nice hotel in the area and found this one. And it was totally worth it. Rooms have a lot of space, they are very clean and balcony is with a nice view. Staff is very friendly, always genuinely happy to see you and help with anything. Food is exquisite and for a reasonable price. Hotel has a private grass and stone beach and is really close to the water. Nice big pool inside is another great thing when the weather isn't that good. They also offer great spa and massages. Love it here and recommend for everyone!
I stayed here for 2 nights because my son was doing his diving on the beach below and it was super convenient. Rooms are fine, and have all you need. Balcony at back has sun in morning. When lamp in our bath broke they fixed within hour. Staff speak virtually all languages, like most coastal Croats. Always able to park on hotel lot. Wifi was ok (could Skype home) Lobby and terrace better than room. Breakfast is fine with fresh fruit and breads with toppings and cereals - they'll bring fresh eggs to your table. I liked all the staff. Friendly and efficient . Best asset is the huge terrace overlooking beach (mostly rocks and cement, like everywhere on coast) and sea. Lovely sunsets, pleasant breakfast outside in sun or shade. Only thing I'd change is the music. They had an endless loop of love/break up songs going (the elevator versions) and it was enough to make anyone sigh, even without a broken heart. Gym is tiny, but nice view. Bike, cross trainer and resistance machine. Didn't try sauna but looked nice. Nice landscaping. Guests mostly retired Germans, some local families.…
