I stayed here with my sister & 2 friends for my birthday in October 2018. A lovely boutique hotel in Messaria. A short walk to the village centre. The rooms we had were lovely, clean and spacious. Good and friendly service from all staff - John, Natasha and Alex. Lovely bespoke breakfasts each morning served by Alex. Also able to access and use facilities at sister hotels - DeSol, Volcano View and Petit Palace - which we did for some breakfasts, dinner and spa treatments. Staff also helpful and friendly in each of these hotels. A good uphill walk from Markezinis to the other hotels, but good exercise. I would certainly stay here again. It was a nice local location in the village and not at all too 'touristy'. Also a good local location with an easy walk to get the bus into Fira to enable travel elsewhere across the island.…
Difficult to find on google, hard to park nearby, no view, stairs- difficult with luggage. However, good breakfast. Small staff of 2, very pleasant. Room was beautiful and bathroom was lovely. Bath jazzuzzi bubbles didn't work but was lovely to sit in with my husband anyway. Bed was comfortable.
Very centrally located although a car is essential. Pools available at sister hotels. The staff were all amazing and looked after us really well. The room was a delight. Nothing was too much for all the staff.
Free use of others group hotels amenities. Nice location not too far from Fira (10') and Beaches (20') by car. Breakfast home made every day or possibility to take it in all the group hotels. Very clean.
This hotel provided the foundation for a vacation in Santorini that exceeded all of our expectations. We are treated preciously in this grand hotel of only several rooms, surrounded by a local school, church, and plenty of parking. Yet we get all the benefits of the tourists that pay triple to stay in a less beautiful room for the Caldera view: we spent all of our sunny afternoons and sunsets by the pool at the sister hotels and were treated like one of their guests. At night, we relaxed in the grand majestic rooms of Markezinis Suites. A car allows all of the hotels to be experienced seamlessly. I would say that a vehicle is pretty indispensable. Natasha and John were genuinely helpful and relaxed hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. My wife and I especially appreciated ALEX, who by the end of our 4-day stay, knew what kind of tea we liked and brought it to our room. Her attitude was always lovely and professional. We were truly content to be in Santorini and, on one rainy day, spend an entire morning and afternoon in our room drinking tea, reading, and watching movies. No need to be skeptical of the 5-star ratings on Tripadvisor. The breakfasts and service are outstanding as advertised. We would not come to Santorini without booking this hotel again.…
