A great hotel outside of the city right on the water. There are quite a few walking paths, baths and even a little ski resort. The included breakfast buffet excellent and the dinner was great. The sunset on the little island across the harbor is not to be missed.

I visited this hotel with my boyfriend, both of us wanted a day outside of Stockholm on our short break to Sweden. We had absolutely no regrets. The hotel has a touch of old-fashioned charm, rooms are spacious with many looking out over the sea and all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was in the first-floor...

This is an beautiful, old aristocratic summer house turned into a hotel. Fantastic placement at the lake bank. Very cozy but still quite big rooms. Extremely pleasant staff (in the upper restaurant. Im the one next to the spa.....). Ready to help you at any moment. We were there with our baby son and they made everything possible for us....

We had booked a Spa package with breakfast, no dinner. Arrived in the afternoon and was greeted by a sign at the entrance telling us the spa was to be open one extra hour due to many bookings. I wish they had put a limit to the bookings instead because the spa was totally overcrowded. What was supposed to be...

Dear Margaretha, Thank you for your review and feedback. I am deeply sorry that your visit did not meet your expectations. Lots of our hotel packages includes a spa entrance which gives our guests unlimited access to that area. We do have generous opening hours (07.00-21.00) and suggest our guests to go on a less popular hour. Our owners bought...

Beautiful hotel with culture! Cozy Christmas decorations and open fireplace. Lovely staff and clean rooms. Sea front restaurant had great food and lovely waiter! During off peak season the hotel is quiet which resulted in us getting a free upgrade and pretty much having the spa area by ourselves!

Visited with my wife and kids despite living in Stockholm. It's a gem, and has new ownership who seems to be committed. Great staff, nice rooms and we had a fantastic dinner! If you want a luxury experience outside of city, this is it.

The hotel looks impressive and is in very beautiful location by the water. Room was very clean and big. (got the superior double room) However before I booked I called to make sure it was one large bed and not 2 separate beds next to each other and I really insisted and they confirmed it was 2 separate beds attached...

We stayed for a weekend in Stockholm, easy to reach with a nice old railway and the hotel itself has a history of Kings and you can feel it when walking in the corridors, the great spacious lobby and french dining room. And what a view over the small island "Holmen" and all the sailingboats! You can sleep well in...

Visited during non-peak season in mid-September, may have contributed to the average experience. Beautiful views out into the water. Rooms are dated but clean. Bathroom faucet was tricky to manage and water was too hot. No ironing board, just a shared one in the hallway. Very few restaurants to choose from in the area. And the in-house restaurant was unable...
