This establishment is great if you want to see the Cheetahs and become involved with their activities but that is where it ends. The quality of the lodges are poor and the level of service is well below par given that as customers we were rushed to eat and go back to our cold lodge. The shop is a bit if a mess with merchandise being mixed up ie clothing and this did not do the Cheetahs any justice. They are basically good at managing the Cheetahs but not very good with their hospitality.

We stayed here for one night and had the chance to learn a lot about cheetahs and their world. The staff was very friendly and made everything to make us feel welcome. The room was very spacious with a nice view and we had a wonderful dinner (with some locally produced cheese) under a l sky full of stars. In addition it is worth stopping here so to give a small contribution to the cheetah conservation foundation that is doing an amazing job for those wonderful animals.

We stayed here two nights so we could spend a full day learning about the cheetahs and the many conservation programs they run here. We cannot say enough good things about it. The room was clean and very spacious. The beds were comfortable. There were large windows with screens so you could take advantage of the breezes. The meals were excellent. The staff was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The museum was very informative and the morning cheetah run is not something to be missed. This is the type of conservation organization that is truly making an impact and not just on cheetahs.

We stayed here as a stop on the way back to Windhoek from Etosha. Extremely comfortable accommodation with personal attention by staff and owner, including dinner and breakfast at the lodge restaurant. However the primary object of the stay was to see the beautiful animals they are protecting, rearing and rehabilitating. They are doing a wonderful job, given the legal constraints and consideration of cheetah behaviour. It’s heartbreaking to see the animals behind fences but understandable given how the cheetah come to be there. If you love these animals like we do this is a worthwhile place to rest en route to/from Etosha and other Namibian attractions in the north.

We can't praise the staff highly enough, so friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Run as a charity, all the staff are dedicated to the cheetah cause. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable and the view from the porch across the thornveld to the Waterberg Plateau was pure Africa. The food was top restaurant standard. Our sundowner drive with Job was a highlight - even saw a brown hyena and several aardwolf! Laura and her cheetahs were very special. Plenty of birdlife .This place exceeded my expectations, as I wasn't expecting so much from their website. Well worth a couple of days visit to break up the trip to Etosha from Windhoek.

My 7 year old daughter loves cheetahs. In her list of favorite animals it’s #2 (after foxes). The oppprtunity for us to see cheetahs feed, learn about their behavior, and take a short drive where we were in close proximity, then relax in the room and dine at the lovely restaurant... just perfect. I expect many may stop just in their way to or from Etosha but if you are not in a hurry I highly recommend and overnight stop.

Excellent accommodation set in the bush on the CCF reserve. Lovely views across to the Waterberg plateau especially from restaurant. Main reason for visit was to see and be informed about the Cheetahs. Went on the afternoon drive including the cheetah feeding. Excellent guides. Really lucky to be joined by Laurie and Bruce for dinner and wish them both well with the much-needed conservation work with these beautiful animals.Could have stayed 2nd night to fully appreciate their work.

Rooms are big and clean, good food, friendly staff, amazing views of the Waterberg Plateau at sunset. A nice place to stay, but not worth the 1hr drive along the gravel road, especially if you have seen cheetahs in Etosha.

I am a professional wildlife photographer and photo tour leader and bring groups of photographers to the Cheetah Conservation Fund's Cheetah View Lodge. This is absolutely lovely accommodation, with friendly staff and great food. And seeing and photographing cheetahs in such close encounters is truly a once in a lifetime experience. My groups loved spending time with the staff of CCF and learning about all of the incredible conservation work they do. This is truly not to be missed!

This was one of the first places we visited when we travelled around Namibia and remained one of our favourites throughout. The Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) run by Laurie and her volunteers is doing a wonderful job in raising awareness and educating the public about cheetahs. If you just want to visit for a day, you can see the cheetahs being fed and exercised and there is a cafe there too. They are also promoting a scheme to rear and train dogs to protect farmers herds from predators. All very interesting. But we were also very lucky to stay in their beautiful accommodation for two nights. We had the family suite, with two large beds, bathroom, sitting room and lovely terrace where you can sit and relax overlooking a small watering hole. Above this is a large airy communal lounge and dining room where you take your delicious meals. The staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble - special thanks to Miriam for looking after us so well. As we were staying there, we also had the opportunity to have a sundowner tour with the lovely Job. He took us out to their 'Little Serengeti' and we saw lots of animals, followed by drinks and snacks watching a beautiful sunset. And then back to the lodge for dinner. Amazing! We enjoyed this so much we did it again on our second night! But the highlight of our stay for our son was when one of the cheetahs, Ron, needed dental work. The team allowed our son to go into the clinic and see what was happening. The dentist let him see his teeth, and he also listened to his heart and groomed him while he was under anaesthetic. For a young animal lover, this was such a special moment and we are so grateful to all the enthusiastic staff for making our stay really wonderful.…
