This campsite at the foot of the Waterberg Plateau is a beautiful place to stay for two or three nights. The campsite itself is very well equipped and lies in the middle of nature with fantastic views on the plateua. There is a great restaurant and swimming pool. Unfortunately we had only one night to stay there but we recommend...

Camped here for 1 night between Windhoek and Etosha. Wish we'd stayed an extra night to have chance to explore more as we only had time to walk a couple of shorter trails. Great, private campsites with good braai area, bench and private ablution block. A nice little pool with lots of birdlife around - could have spent an afternoon...

We stayed for 1 night at this campsite, 4 pitches each with their own shower/toilet in a central ablution block. The sites itself (only 4) give good privacy and have shelter . We had porcupine as night visitors and during day kudu wandered through the campsites, this is a very peaceful campsite with great views, some walking trails start near...

The pool at the Waterberg Wilderness Lodge IS a waterhole sometimes - for the baboons. Our staff is cleaning it on a daily basis, but maybe on the day you were there the baboons waited until our staff was done with the pool and was busy with other tasks. However, we hope that it did not spoil your stay, because...

We camped at Anderson's Camp (one of the 2 campsites on offer) and loved the spot. The scenery is dramatic, reception well organised and friendly, the ablutions ok but can do with an update but very clean and had nice warm water for camping. There is a pool at the camp fed from the spring in the valley which will...

Wow, such a long and positive comment - we feel flattered! Just a hint to avoid misunderstandings: There are three small lodges and two small campsites in out private nature reserve Waterberg Wilderness. Greetings from our Andersson Camp team including our four-legged "staff" for nocturnal entertainment of our guests.

We stayed there for two nights with our three kids. Clean, nice staff and a wonderful area. There are interesting game drives on the farm and you can hike on your own onto the hiking trails. Nice restaurant!

Great that you enjoyed the Rhino Drive in our nature reserve Waterberg Wilderness and our nature trails. Allow us to add that the restaurant is at our Waterberg Valley Lodge, 5 minutes from the campsite. Campers are welcome to have dinner but should inform the reception in advance.

This is a great camp site for people wanting to experience nature and sit under the stars. The camp sites are literally in the middle of nowhere and you camp on sand and is surrounded by the bushveld. The lodge is not too far away, though. Every site has its own marked ablution facility with shower, sink and toilet. We...

Yes, THIS refers to our Waterberg Plateau Campsite: Each pitch has its own shower/wc in the common ablution building. Thank you for your long and positive comment. Oh, and passing regards from our porcupines ;-)

We spent 2 nights at this site and enjoyed every moment, spectacular scenery and rewarding hikes. The site is very well maintained and well worth a visit. The recent history of the site is well documented and takes up a good part of the day to explore and consider.

We unfortunately stayed at the plateau lodge. What a let down! Overpriced and the food is terrible with no option to make your own. Besides the views and hiking trails there is really nothing special... However the Anderson campsite is lovely. Ablution block for every two campsites. It even has a swimming pool. I would certainly recommend visiting the waterberg...

We enjoyed our stay here, the sites were well spaced so there was no feeling of crowding. The private washing facilities were great, a tiny walk from the pitch but nice that you had your own and the showers were hot. Each site had water, braai and dustbin with a bench and some shade. The restaurant up the hill had...
