Situated on the banks of the Temburong River this traditional rainforest lodge provides amazing views of the surrounding wildlife. Easily accessible by boat and car the lodge offers a fantastic adventure at the gateway to the heart of Borneo. Whether it is speeding down the zip line, experiencing local Iban culture or watching the Birds Freme's Rainforeset lodge has it all.
The Freme Rainforest Lodge tour is brilliant. I had a great day, which completely exceeded my expectations. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made everyone in the group feel comfortable, and showed us all sorts of things, from a Pygmy squirrel to a flying lizard. The national park is pristine and diverse, and I would have been happy with just the longboat cruise up the river , let alone the walk through the forest, the canopy walk, the fish spa and the river tubing. Morning tea, lunch, transfers, booking process all great - and very responsive, particularly considering I only booked the morning before. This is more than worth your time and money.

Staff is very nice, they pick you up on hotel, give you breakfest, take you to the jungle upriver, go back by kayaking (if you want of course), then they serve you amazing lunch! In case you are in Brunei, I strongly recommend! See the Rain forest with great service!

Facilities at the lodge are basic, but good enough for our family of 5 that were accommodated in a family room. All meals were delicious and kid friendly. Don’t expect good Wi-Fi in the heart of nature. From the lodge, we enjoyed a thrilling speedboat ride to the hiking place in the Ulu Temburong National Park, a refreshing fish spa at the waterfalls and an exciting river rafting back to the lodge. Kids also enjoyed the Flying Fox zipline and rock climbing the next morning before our return to the city. Overall, a very memorable overnight experience which we would highly recommend.

Our group of 5 had a memorable visit to the 4 tier Sg Apan waterfalls, located about 20 minutes upstream by boat from Temburong. Superbly organized by the inbound travel manager Sugu, we were accompanied by 4 excellent boatmen & guides who assisted us to through the challenging and slippery terrain. Highly recommended. The white rafting on way back was fun. Had an enjoyable late lunch at the Lodge. Whilst expensive, this trip is totally worthwhile; & Freme are seasoned accomplished tour operators

The students from our school absolutely enjoyed their time at Temburong! The itinerary was meticulously arranged by Sugu - we started with morning tea, briefing and Sugu has wonderfully taken into account our interest to try local dishes (i.e. the Ayam Pansuh or Bamboo Chicken) We very much enjoyed the visits to Sungai Licak and Sungai Apan - the guide Zul is also very detailed introducing us about the flora fauna - we had a chance to dive and swim at these waterfalls while enjoying fish spa at Sungai Licak. Being this close to nature is a bliss. The longboat rides were also fun and we would have loved if we saw Proboscis monkeys along the way sifting through the river! Rafting was also fun and we look forward to any extreme rapids to try in future We then proceeded to return to the lodge for lunch and were served 'masakan kampung' before proceeding with flying fox The overall day was very much what we had hoped for and our next goal is to come back for a multi-day tour and try out the accommodation and outdoor camp! This trip has made us appreciate how much Brunei can offer in terms of nature tourism - it is full of surprises! Thank you Sugu and team from all of us - SMPIHM Travel and Tourism class…

Our family of 32 thoroughly enjoy the 2 day 1 night package with Freme Travel, arranged by Sugu. Exciting, fun, activity filled, excellent local food and great family bonding. Our 80+ year old grand parent / parent enjoyed the activities as well, proving that with support and careful planning, seniors can also enjoy outdoor experience in the rain forest. Thank you to all.

had a 3 day visit to Freme, and had a full schedule of activities with Ivy and other guides providing an excellent service. It's good value for those who want to experience this part of Temburong - it has access to a bridge that allows exploration across the river, I had some memorable walks there. I enjoyed all the activities offered, and the food is good. there was construction work during my visit with noise from a generator and buzz saw, which made it less peaceful / relaxing. I suggest checking what's happening with that if staying overnight. This is a busy resort with lots of groups and sometimes school groups - so quite hectic at times during the day. The staff are attentive to guests though. The accom is a reasonable standard for the price, though the ground floor rooms have no sound insulation from communal area above - had to request a room change on arrival. The grounds and garden around the resort are really attractive - especially in the late afternoon when it's more peaceful.…

A very nice day for a trip, with friendly staffs and excellent service provided. Its hard to walk if you don't have proper shoe. Very nice view of the 4 waterfalls at Sg Apan the water is cold n refreshing. The food in my photos are promotional foods if you would like to try, you need to call a few days ahead to preorder it.
