Detailed Reviews
I took a 2 days 1 night stay at very short notice. The crew were very friendly and hospitable and made sure they could fit me in although I was alone. I was partly hooked up with a group, and partly did other things. I can highly recommend the "medicinal trail", which is about an hours easy hiking with a very knowledgeable guide who was telling about plants and herbs with great enthusiasm.
Day 2 was a boat trip, canopy walk and rafting back to the camp. I had a great trip and stayed close to the guide who was explaining a lot about the nature and plants as we passed them.
I would have liked to see some more focus on safety during the water activities. The life jackets were all worn out with missing straps and broken zippers, and no fitting instructions were given before entering the boats.
All in all a great 2 days out!

Our family of five visited Trandie for the first time this August. We have an 8,5 n 1year old and we weren't sure what to expect. But it gave us and them a chance to challenge ourselves and explore nature. We were very impressed with the knowledge and safety (especially for our one year old) from all the staff at Trandie. We enjoyed swimming, tubing, zip lining, rock wall climbing, rafting, foraging, trekking (a bit) and fishing! Thanks to JJ, Katrina, Zati, Benny, Khai, and Martin.
The energy and experience of each and every one of them really made this trip excellent. They are wonderful people and really knew how to keep the kids entertained.
The accommodation was just right for the us mad the kids. But the choice of accommodation varies and can work for different budgets. The food was simple but soo good especially picking our own veggies and getting them for lunch the last day!
Hoping we can visit again soon.
Thank you Trandie!

Booked the 2 riverfront rooms for overnight stay with my family. We had a fabulous time, with a great sunrise walk (amazing vistas & so close to the resort), and a fun outing to 2 waterfalls, 1/2 hour boat ride away. Katrina, JJ & Surati were outstanding & personable hosts & guide.
The bedrooms whilst basic had the key essentials: aircon, decent WiFi & lighting, & clean . The dining area was a most relaxing space to hang out, overlooking the river. We also had an enjoyable dinner, which included the local specialty Bamboo Chicken.
We found the Medicinal Trail a bit of a let down; but perhaps it was partly to do with the rainy wet weather.
Overall, highly recommended, & the biggest asset of Trandie are its friendly & energetic team. Will try Apan falls next visit.

Our family of 5 visited Trandie for a two day one night stay. Our room fit us all comfortably and we loved the direct view of the river. The staff were understanding and accommodating to my dietary restrictions and everything was delicious! Our two days were spent with Martin as our guide and Khai and Maurice as additional staff to help us along. They were all incredible! They were friendly, knowledgable and extremely engaging with our kids! They interacted with them, joined for our waterfall swim and helped them along on our canopy walk. We loved all the activities from the flying fox, boat ride, foraging for our veggies, canopy walk and exploring the water falls. Our son was especially excited to help Maurice fish! At the end of our stay the children were sad to leave and have declared that we will be back! We highly recommend Trandie for an adventure getaway!

We booked the Immersive Overnight Stay package (which can be adjusted according to your preference at an extra cost) and opted for abseiling, wall climbing and a sunset canopy walk followed by a BBQ dinner on the first day. The second day began with a wonderful local breakfast of nasi lemak to fuel us for the remaining adventures on the flying fox and a hike up bukit Patoi.
Apart from being surrounded by nature, I was impressed by how friendly the staff at Trandie are. They welcome you, (laugh at your lame jokes) and make you feel at home. On top of that, they were really accommodating to our last minute requests. They provided us with local kuehs upon arrival, and even packed sandwiches for our canopy walk!
We stayed in the riverside chalet which has a small balcony overlooking the river. The room could do with a bit more TLC, but it served its purpose - it's neat and the beds are big and comfy! The toilet does get a little wet after you take a shower though.
I think what's important for the ultimate jungle experience is your tour guide. We had the opportunity to experience the services of three different guides - Najmi, Lekong and Kardi - all of whom knew the jungle like the back of their hand. Najmi and Lekong are experts when it comes to steering the boat - it was almost pitch black after our sunset canopy walk, and we would've been extremely nervous if not for them. Kardi has a keen eye for jungle creatures, and we made a few jungle friends because of that - I already miss Buggy (the cicada) and Dexter (the orangey-red snail). Oh, and did I mention, they come prepared with a mini first aid kit too!
One last thing, you don't have to worry about food at all on this trip - they have it all under control. It was indeed an immersive jungle experience. Thank you, TMR!

Area is very clean including equipments such as the life vests. Materials used for the flying fox is also in good condition.

All in all it was a great trip. Will definitely return in the future.

I signed up for an overnight package upon my friend’s recommendation. I was initially hesitant due to the small number of reviews (and I’m very reliant on reviews) but decided to trust my friend.
Best decision ever! We had such a terrific time with the crew at Trandie - they were enthusiastic in sharing what they knew about the natural habitat and accommodating with our last minute requests. We did a short jungle walk in the afternoon and a night walk as well, in addition to a canopy walk the day after. There was so much we learnt about the nature at Temburong. The food was also excellent and I enjoyed every meal thoroughly.
It was a very relaxing time and I highly recommend this to everyone visiting Brunei, who is interested in nature. This is a Brunei owned company working with the locals so you are supporting a group of passionate people when you sign up with them

We were here with a group from a cruise ship which docked in Muara, Brunei. From there we took a shuttle bus into town, got on a very fast speedoat (very comfortable) to get to Bangar-Temburong, through the mangrove-lined waterways. From there we were picked up by the Trandie shuttle to the resort where we embarked in long-boats to the waterfall quite a ways upriver. The long-boats were quite uncomfortable (sitting almost yoga-style a few inches off the bottom of the boat on a very small wooden seat). At the end of the 1/2 hour ride in the long-boat we arrived at the stream that we had to slog through (15-minutes) to get to the waterfall. The trip back was much faster as we were traveling with the current rather than against it. This is not a trip for the faint of heart or body, but it certainly gets you the feeling of the rainforest and the Brunei flora. Very exhilarating, but very tiring.

Hi William, Thank you for taking the time to review us on TripAdvisor! We understand the longboats can be uncomfortable for those not used to sitting on low stools, especially for those with long legs! Though due to the nature of the river the traditional long boats are still the best way to navigate through the rocky and shallow areas. We hope you enjoyed the natural beauty our pristine Rainforests have to offer and got a good nights rest afterwards! We wish you well and hope you enjoyed the rest of your cruise. Kind regards, Zati

Having my program run at a rainforest was effortless with the collaboration and knowledge of the staff. We constantly felt safe and in awe of the knowledge the staff and guides had. If you truly want to engage in the rainforest by exploring learning and respecting mother nature Trandie are the perfect people for it.

Thank you for your kind words Vena and for taking the time to review us on TripAdvisor. We loved having you and your participants over for the duration of your wellness program. We especially enjoyed your smoothie bowls! Thank you again for the opportunity to work together. I think all of us here at Trandie learned a few things from watching you conduct your program and you have have broadened our horizons, especially our chef Alan! We wish you well and hope to see you again next year. Warmest regards, Zati

We were a party of three, two Bruneians with a guest from the U.S. Staff at the resort were friendly and informative, our guide was even kind enough to treat us during lunch to some organic 'ubi' pulled straight from the riverside.
