We spend in Posada Arenas few days and it was great time thanks to Fernando, whole staf perfect location. Not last but definitely not least was great - one of the best in area - Marismo restaurant (maybe 25m from Posadas). To center of Jose Ignacio and ... to La Huella restaurant by the beach is 40 minutes walk. If...

Poseda Arenas is a haven in the quiet beachside resort of Jose Ignacio - close enough to Punta Del Este for those who seek to be at the centre of things but a bit classier for our tastes. The hotel is charming and comfortable offering basic accommodation in a stylish, small and modern building with comfortable facilities including a small...

We spent a few nights here in November, it is quiet at this time of year so makes for a very tranquil break. The posada is set just outside of Jose Ignacio (a short drive or 40 minute walk along a beautiful & deserted beach) a couple of minutes walk to the beach in woodland. It is a wonderful building...

Service with a smile. The owner, Fernando (also the architect) is hands on and so his his wonderful staff. Very comfortable accommodations with safe, jacuzzi tubs, big comfy beds, and chic design. Santiago at the front desk suggested totally curated restaurants that we would have never found ourselves. Great breakfast and for the beach we received umbrellas, chairs and towels...

My husband and I had such a lovely stay at Posada Arenas. Breakfast was top notch, rooms were a nice size with a lovely shower and comfortable mattress. The hotel had free bikes to use which was a great way to see the countryside. What really set the hotel apart however was the amazing staff. Fernando is the owner who...

This was a really relaxing hotel to spend a few days in. It had a good sized swimming pool and the rooms were very tastefully furnished and a good size. There was a very powerful shower in the bathroom ,wi-fi throughout the hotel and you got a varied breakfast each morning - we particularly liked the walnut cake! What makes...

We stayed here for 5 days and found it a very relaxing place. The fabulous golden sandy beach is a short walk just across the road and we pretty much had it to ourselves. The hotel lent us chairs and an umbrella which were very welcome as it was very hot. The pool is great too as a nice way...
