After 10 days in Bolivia and small villages in Northern Argentina, this hotel came a surprise. It is nicely situated on the edge of town and overlooking the whole village as good parking and great views. Reception was quick and informative, public areas nicely furnished with good natural light entering the corridors and public areas. Bedrooms were nicely furnished with...

Dear Guest, we appreciate your comment. We are glad you have had a nice stay here in Iruya . Regarding the food service, it`s important to let you know that for us is also expensive to bring food and beverags to these places. We will work to sort it out the internet wi-fi service. Thanks for your feedback Sunny Regards...

Iruya is a wonderful place at the end of the road (to get into town you have to drive through the river unless you arrive by bus and then you have to walk down the river bed to the bridge) The atmosphere in this place is like being in another world set back in time. The hotel is at the...

This is the nicest place to stay in Iruya. Steve/Esteban at the front desk was especially friendly, spoke great English. Rooms were beautiful, comfortable. Nice to take a bath after that crazy bus ride to Iruya (only drive yourself if very adventurous). Food was OK, but not super great (only reason I did not give it 5 stars). Free coca...

As in life, when visitng Iruya , the journey is much more beautiful than the destination itself. The road (offroad, "ripio" and passing rivers without bridges) is absolutely wonderful. The first half it goes up until 4200 meters over the sea level and it goes down again until you finnaly reach Iruya. Then town itself was a little bit disapointing...

You will be almost at the top of the mountain, in front of condor´s nest, magnificent sight, down the little town, the ancient church and the river...Is not easy to reach this little village that it seams to be hanging from the mountain, almost 3 hours by a winding road, you will reach 4000 mts before going down till the...

Iruya is a wonderful place to visit and as others have said unless you're a backpacker this is the only place in town. And it's fine. Rooms decent, public spaces well designed, food ok, customer service also decent (eg they started breakfast 30 mins early as we had an early morning horse ride). All that said it's very unlikely to...

The route to Iruya is beautiful and the road is not so bad. It took us 2,5 hours to reach Iruya with many stops for photos. The hotel is very nice on the top of the village. It has a nice atmosphere due to the elegant and modern decoration and furniture, which help to cover his age and also the...

Hotel Iruya is perched atop the village at the end of an extremely steep cobblestone road. The only thing further along the road is the cemetery. There's no English here. Perhaps you'll have some difficulty communicating - sign language works. Regional dialects are strong so high school Spanish is of little help. However you will be so relieved to have...
