We booked this as a Grab One deal and had high expectations given the photos and description and the high price. Unfortunately we found that this place seems to have been developed to look good but it is lacking in practical details and the breakfasts and hosting was rather odd compared to other similar types of accommodation. We were offered... More

This is a fantastic luxury B & B with attention to all details. The decor, linen etc are luxurious and Steve & Lynn are great hosts. The breakfasts were terrific. We had a lovely art deco tour of Hastings in the 1938 Buick. We thoroughly recommend this place as a fantastic treat!

It's close to some great wineries with wonderful restaurants, close to the sea and yet Art Deco Napier, Hastings and the charming village of Havelock North... More

We had an amazing two days at Parkhill Estate recently, from the moment we arrived (just in time for a glass of wine and Steve's yummy canapés before heading out for dinner) right up until we left (after yet another one of Steve's great breakfasts), we felt so welcome and relaxed. We stayed in ZaZa's room with the fab monkey... More

“Have a look on their website to view a description and picture of the rooms before you book. We saw all but Marilyn's room whilst we were there and they all have their special touches. We especially liked the bathroom in ZaZa's and Angelica's suite looked very bright and airy.”

“We loved Marilyn's suite because it had a huge jaccuzi tub and big rain shower! It is a large room in wonderful hues of Tiffany blue and rich brown and it has french doors to a personal patio. Having said this, we saw all the rooms and each has its own unique appeal!”
