A fairly modern motor inn with clean, decently furnished rooms including a small fridge and microwave.

I overheard one of the staff telling a guest that they didn't use harsh smelly chemicals for cleaning the rooms. Since I have friends with environmental allergies, this made a big difference to me. The room was very comfortable and quiet.

What a great motel at a good price. This was a way point for us after leaving the Cabot Trail and Cape Breton Island. After a long drive The Slumber Inn was a good resting spot. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.
We enjoyed are stay the staff are friendly and helpful. But it would be nice if they kept the dining room open til 10 in the morning. They only had it opened on the weekends til 10 am. Rooms were clean and very comfy beds
